Blessings to all, definitly cats. I got my first cat when I was 5 years old, and I have always been a "cat" person. I have a ten year old cat whose name is "booboo" and he is one of the most loving and gentle cats that I have ever had. He is mixed with Persian, and he has a lot of long fur. Dogs are O.K., but I prefer cats over dogs anytime! God Bless!!

I am and will always be a cat person. I cannot imagine life without owning a cat. And currently, I have a sassy one-eyed tortie who loves to cause trouble. But she is still the sweetest most lovable cat. According to my roommate, she is the naughtiest one-eyed cat ever!
---Katie on 11/9/07|
Skunk. Nobody I know owns one, so I don't have to worry about their pet bothering me.
---Jeb on 10/27/07|
We have 2 silver shorthair tabbies, Brewcee she's a diva if cats could be one, and punkin, is my boy. Both are very sweet, very different and very demanding.

nvBarb, no problemo, I can be shy to the shy. Ha,ha, maybe he'd also let me fix his alien tail.
---Eloy on 6/22/06|
That would be way cool Eloy! But if you read on the UFO blog, he may be invisable until he gets used to you!
---NV_Barbara on 6/21/06|
nvBarb, what a neat cat you have. Someday perhaps I may be privileged enough to visit you all.
---Eloy on 6/21/06|
My cat Moses (momo for short) is my favorite animal. He is FAT and very smart. He is about 15 yrs. old now and me and him been through alot together. My other cat, Steve, is cute, but bad.

Anybody who knew something about bees? I guess, I have to accept these bees that transferred to three earthen pots in my garden as my pets now. If ever bees could become pets, then this is the cheapest pets to have.
---Bebet3754 on 6/20/06|
No wonder he never talks Eloy, he's always just listening to you!
Indeed, Knothead gives so much love and we love him back, so its mutual. He's a good boy and minds well. He's unique for sure. In the evenings when we are quiet and saying our prayers together softly he never makes a sound, he'll tiptoe over and cuddle up between us.
---NV_Barbara on 6/20/06|
I tried to email you through your name here, but it said you were no longer a member
---John_T on 6/18/06|
sister Barb, yea, he always fasts so I save a fortune on food. Nah, he doesn't talk at all, but he does listen to all my preaching. I remember they came out with a stuffed dog years ago, and when you squeezed him he would say, " ~Who let the dogs out, ruff, ruff, ruff ruff ruff." I shoulda got one of them, when I seen 'em in the drug store, in California when I was there. I love you Barb, I bet knothead gives you tons of unconditional love.
---Eloy on 6/17/06|
Cool Eloy, does he shed? At least you don't have to feed him!
When you say 'he doesn't talk back', do you mean he talks, but is polite? :)
---NV_Barbara on 6/16/06|
I have a very good pet, a stuffed woody woodpecker. He's very obedient, he doesn't roam around, he's very quiet, and he never talks back.

With the exception of snakes, crocodiles and spiders, I think all other animals can become good pets. But I go for dogs because it is natural for a dog to live with humans. I had white mice, rabbit and fishes. They died without me even holding them closer. Now I have six dogs that are still jealous with a couple of chicken given me by a friend last May 1.
---Bebet3754 on 6/15/06|
I like dogs and cats. They show unconditional love and forgiveness, a thing that we all should learn and pass on.
---andrea on 6/14/06|
I have a cat named Issue. Because of my life she fits in nicely but, I would have a dog if I could and some fish and a bird and maybe a skunk....maybe a horse also. And of corse a pet monkey to help care for them all.
---Alexandra on 6/14/06|
I like cats, they taste like chicken!
---Steve on 6/14/06|
Jeb, it that for real? I've heard skunks make good pets, once the scent gland is removed! Are they affectionant, well behaved?
---NV_Barbara on 6/14/06|
I am crazy. I have cat allergies and own two cats. Praise God for allergy shots and medicines.
My felines are indoor cats, as my apartment complex prohibits roaming critters. I keep the litter boxes clean and my apartment does not have a cat odor.

Yo Bruce, Knothead is a home body, I've never seen him leave our yard. We have a big back yard that has privacy fencing all around. He has 2 places, one under a huge bush, and another way around the side by the garage where he does his routine. He covers everything up. I've never never run across anyplace that I can see where he goes. He's a good boy! Meow...
---NVBarbara on 6/14/06|
That was funny Elder.
I love cats, but my husband is allergic to them so I won't get one : (I do have a dog, which has so much fur it took at least 3 hours to shave her for the summer. When we got her they told me that she is part Chow and part German Shepherd. I think she is part dog and part sheep.
---Kathy on 6/14/06|
DAWGS!!! Because they are the most lovable and devoted of any pet. They love you no matter what mood you're in. My 3 are my best friends. They can bring a smile to my face no matter what kind of day I've had
---T.S. on 6/14/06|
Re: your "clean" cats. Ask your neighbours who's garden your cat does his buisness in just how "clean" it is. :)
I am a cat lover but given that I live alone and am gone from the house most of the time, it would not be fair to have one. My last cat was a Tonkanese.
(With reference to those who believe that their pets will be in Heaven) Do you suppose that there will be KFC there too?
---Bruce5656 on 6/13/06|
My favourite pet is my little white Maltese Terrier Cross puppy "Crystal". She is the best little doggie in the whole wide world. She was conceived and born right here in this house. God made her just so special. She always obeys me, unlike her mother who is just sssooooooooooooooooo stubborn. My other favourite is one of my 4 cats "Blossom".
---Helen_5378 on 6/13/06|
They're beautiful, entertaining, you can dress up the aquarium, and the're low maintenance.
---lynet on 6/13/06|
I love birds, mainly Chickens and especially Kentucky Fried ones.
---Elder on 6/13/06|
Pharisee, I always knew you were for the birds!
Oh my, a friend has a bird and what a mess! Changing paper several times a day, he spits the seed shells all over ICK!
My cat goes outside to do his business, no litterbox, no smell! Cats are cool, and they keep themselves clean. Cats are relaxing, I get sleepy watching Knothead so relaxed and curled up sleeping close to me.
---NVBarbara on 6/13/06|
It is a tie between cats and dogs. Right ow I only own two cats because of the lifestyle I had in grad school. Long hours precluded owning anything that needed regular walks. My apartment complex has a limit on pets, so as soon as I get a place of my own I am adopting a canine mutt type.
---Madison1101 on 6/13/06|
I love all kinds of animals, they all have such diverse personalities. I had a great Alaskian Malamute named Bear who was the best dog I've ever encountered,so loving. I had to leave him behind when I moved to NV.
But I am more of a cat person and we have a wonderful Maine Coon (Knothead) whos gentle and loving, smart and playful. Every night he'll stand by a cabinet I have in the den where he knows I keep his brushes. He'll sit there patiently until I brush him!
---NVBarbara on 6/13/06|
I prefer the stuffed kind, like a teddy bear, but if I had to pick an animal in which to share my habitation it would be a cockatiel.
I don't like cats B-cause they have stinky litter boxes, I don't like dogs because dog hair is a curse, reptiles...YUK, fish, best maintainance/lowest rewards.
Birds are just about right for me
