Why Did God Create Us

Does anyone ever wonder what is the point? Why did God create us? Why did God create Satan if he knew what was going to happen? Why does God create murders, molestor, evil-doers if he already knows they are going to be evil?

He sees the end of things before they come, and apparently we were worth it.

Either that or God was bored and sent away for an ant farm, I'd like to think he wants to love and bless us, he could've scrapped the whole thing in Eden, or Just given the man and woman Christ then but would they eat yet again? If they didn't their children might have slipped and what would they become?
Only he knows.
He gives MORE grace, a life of sin under his protection, Judged by law we'd all be consumed.

85 words Max! How small that makes

Would you believe to bring glorification to God, is the reason for all of that. Well it is true. Bite the dust!

1. The standard answer says, "God made me to know, love, and serve Him in this life, and to be happy forever with Him in the next."

2. This brings in the issue of free will, but remember that God sees things as they are instantaneously--not like us who experience reality as a succession of events in time. To SEE a man hitting himself with a hammer is not the same thing as MAKING him do it.

[7] For Christians, the answer to the existence of evil generally lies within our knowledge of Who God is: That as you study all Scripture reveals about His being, His holiness, His love, His justice, His righteousness, His truth, power and omniscience, and all the ways He has interacted with us throughout history, YOU should come to trust that whatever He has done and will do, whatever 'plan' He has for us, it is the best it can be; even if that includes also allowing evil to exist!
---danie9374 on 11/1/06

[8] As I said before, whole books have been written on this subject, but basically, they're discussions of many examples from history and Scripture, and a lot of philosophy. In the end, you're either going to trust in God or try to become God's 'counselor' (Isaiah 40:13; then likely much worse:) You may end up believing that God is not Who He says He is: not all-powerful, not all-knowing, etc. And, sadly, there are now some 'theologians' who say that about God! But as for me, I will trust in the LORD.

[5] God created the Universe just because He could! By doing so, He knew it would bring Him more glory and praise, but it was not a necessity for Him to do so! God has never needed any other being for His existence to be complete! That's one reason He revealed to us that He's always existed as Three Persons: That communication and love already existed within God, so Creation was never requred for love to exist!
---danie9374 on 10/31/06

[6] THIS WAS ONLY the beginning of a full discussion of evil, which would require a whole book or more, but I'm only human and must def. get more sleep; I'm still sick with a fever!

[1] Barbara: Your question should *NOT* be 'Why did God create any _particular person_ whom He knew would be evil?' (which is FALSE, because God never creates ANYTHING evil! God does NOT 'create babies'; though we do consider Him to be involved in our lives), but rather: 'Why did He create MANKIND, if He knew we'd become sinners?' The bottom-line question YOU'RE really asking is: "Why does God ALLOW evil to exist?" When satan sinned, why didn't God completely obliterate that being [cont.]
---danie9374 on 10/31/06

[2] (as if he'd never existed); rather than merely 'kicking him out' of heaven? When Eve sinned, why didn't God 'strike her dead' so Adam would have had to decide whether or not to disobey God all on his own?! Making this very personal: When YOU committed your first sin, are YOU glad God didn't 'erase YOU' rather than allow your evil soul to continue existing? A big problem humans have with the Holy God, the YHWH of Israel, is that EVERY SINGLE sin or thought is equally UN-righteous! [Cont.]
---danie9374 on 10/31/06

[3] The reason I said that is because what Barbara seems to be asking is: "Why can't we have a world where the 'worst sins' (murder, etc.) don't exist?" Well, God isn't a cosmic policeman who must enforce the whims of human judges! To God, EVERY SIN deserves the ultimate penalty. It's an ALL or NOTHING proposition when compared to His righteousness! Someone I've witnessed to many times often asks, 'Well, if God is really all-powerful, why didn't he create people from the very beginning, [cont.]
---danie9374 on 10/31/06

[4] so no one could (or would) ever sin?' The fact sin exists is an important issue for Christians, but to most people it's merely a prideful excuse for them to avoid having to even consider God as a real being! BTW, I'm appalled at some of the answers those calling themselves Christians give to questions like this: Their concept of God seems to little more than a human mind with super powers! [Cont.]

greetings.'why did God create us?'he loves children.the 'who' created us specifically is jesus, the 'creator son'.jesus does not create monsters(the red dragon).if one thinks so then"ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of".having knowledge that the Father knows all yet the son creates what is to turn against him and become evil is misunderstanding the nature of God and his creator son.who said,"be ye perfect"?to all, this takes faith and time.

God adhors sufferng and evil (Gen. 6:5-6.)
For many, religion has been an encounter with indifference, privilege, judgment and hypocrisy. Unfortunately, some project these experiences on God. God is none of these and opposes these. We need to accept responsibility for sin and stop blaming God and humble ourselves to see that our evil breaks His heart. To free ourselves from self-pity, fear, dishonest behavior etc, we need to put God first. We achieve this when our heart breaks over sin as Gods does.

For company. The big answer is free will. God gave us free will to make our own choices. He wants us to make the right ones, sometimes we don't. God didn't do it, we chose the wrong way.
---Nellah on 7/15/06

Barbara:: Why did God make US.Ans:- To know him , to love him, to serve Him,in this world& be Happy with him forever in the next.Having said this, what did man do ulilised his free will under the tulelage of satan,to disobey him& lead a life of sensuality to satisfy his own personal needs & not the will of the Father, pillage murder & all the rest One should not envision the reason but keep an account of one's own personal self & meet his obligations to the Almighty.

Because all we can give him is our praise and worship
---Betty on 6/22/06

Barbara - God allows evil things to happen because man is born with the sin nature and God has given man a freewill. The problem is when people do not seek God and they keep going on their path of destruction. That is not God's fault -- He sent His only Son Jesus Christ into this world to become a Man and die on the Cross for sin.

Barbara::Satan was cast out of heaven & was the first sin of Pride & rebellion.God created humanity as Jack said & I concur. But the devil made sin men follow him by choice. He wanders about the world 24/7/365 seeking the ruin of souls. It is Mans FREE will that makes us to be murderers molesters & all the other sins which are too numerous to describe if you love God you will not commit sin.Its not Gods intention to curb a sinner he is a God of Love & gives each of us a chance to vindicate himself

Father wants a people to choose Him, to choose life even when death is all around. Would you rather a man love you because he had to or because he wanted to and truly desired a relationship with you? How you answer will reflect how you view Father God.
---Linda6563 on 6/20/06

Father wants to be chosen and trusted no matter what it looks like with the natural eye or what is experienced negatively by or through others. God doesn't create murderers, molesters, evil-doers, etc. He created Adam and Adam fell by unbelief (he chose the lie instead of the truth) and all those awful things are a result of that fall. However, God had a provision before there was ever a problem and we can choose that provision and have life more abundantly given to us.
---Linda6563 on 6/20/06

Such is the heart of the Father and the expression of His heart in the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son. I know a lot of people who say they love God when everything is going great around them and no one has done them harm. It is another matter altogether to continue to love God and remain in subjection to His kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy when nothing seems to be going as it should externally.

Send a Free Angel Ecard

None of that answers my question...If God nows that Joe Smith (made up) is going to murder and molest children 20 years from now, freewill shmewill, why does he allow that to happen. Why not say...parents of Joe Smith, you will not concieve this evil child.

Love made man, and it is love that redeems man back to the Father through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ of Himself on the Cross for sin.
