Where Did The Pig Demons Go

In Mark 5 we read about Jesus sending demons out of a man and into a herd of swine which then drowned. The man was well, the pigs were dead but what then, do you think, happened to the demons?

Maybe the demons entered into Killer sharks.

I have never found the answer to this question in the Bible. I say they are probably still roaming the earth or have maybe intered into someone else. Or maybe since the pigs all died the demons were sent into the abyss after all. Luke 8:31

The demons probably got out when the dead pigs got too stinky. :)

When the pigs died the demons went on to continue to find human's to possess no doubt. Jesus had the power to cast them into Hell BEFORE their time, but He choose to cast them into the pigs, to prove a point that demon's DO exist, some refuse to believe that. The devil and his demons will very soon be in Hell, and some are already there. Some God will allow to ascend to earth during the GREAT TRIBULATION PERIOD(see the book of Revelation),as a judgment to sinful mankind. I hope this helps.

IF I may I.M.O.O., It is amazing that we humans will allow demons to posess our bodies (tabernacles of God). Note that as soon as the demons went into the swine they killed themselves rather than be posessed. NOT that we should committ suicide; We have a heavenly Father to help free us from Satan. Demons, evil spirits, fallen angels, etc. all are "part" of Satan's followers. They will be destroyed in the end (see Revelation). Until then they go to and fro devouring whom they may...

Matthew 12:43-45
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man (or pigs), he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

This is an excellent question f.f. So far, I believe Rev. Herb's plain & simple response is right on target (has hit the mark).

Why are you wondering where demons have gone?

I'm sure that if you really want to find out, you will, though you may be sorry once you get your answer.

No good is served by looking for demons.

Also see Matthew 8:28 ff. In Mark 5:10, we read that the demons wanted to remain in the same area; not just go into the pigs, and that they wondered if Jesus was going to send them into the Abyss "to torment us before the time" (Mt. 8:29)! We shouldn't waste much time speculating on what God doesn't tell us, but it seems they felt there were others nearby whom they could also posess; unless the death of the pigs put an end to their plans.

I can only imagine that they still roam the earth seeking whom to possess. I do believe that while this happened they were also used by our Lord to show us that evil spirits do have an open door given by our Lord to possess any that fall away and return to their wallowing in sin and mire as a swine. To reject our precious Lord is being in danger of having him reject us and turn us over to the devil as he will give us what we want.

They came looking for you and me or anyone who would let them in. Keep them out and they will have to look else where.
