....Hmmmmmmm????? let us not forget to always walk-in the compassion, mercy & love of God as we recall the "whosoever" in John 3:16.
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

To Whosoever has an ear to hear?
We were forewarned by God in 1Samuel 8:10-22 about this very thing.
10 Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king.
11 This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots
12 he will appoint them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war.
15 he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants.
18 ye shall cry out in that day and the LORD will not hear you in that day.
19Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel

yes the government don't care what if right is right and wrong is wrong. Christians need to stand up for the word of God. We let one woman take prayers out of schools, we let her, it is about time the Children of God come together in unity and take back what the devil stole from us. A Pastor of a church, should not let gays/sinner behind the pulpit. Just because the vail is down, that doesn't mean anyone can just walk in.

I think they have taken marriage. Now we have to get a licence and also we have same sex marriage which we wouldn't have if the government wasn't in charge. I hear that some countries are now issuing baptism licences the same as marriage.

In what aspect? Charities/programs, politics...something else?

Yes! It is the church's job to take care of others, but we have SS, Medicare, Medicade, welfare, etc. It is the church's job to "police" the moral input of this country, but no one is doing it. More importantly, it is the church's job to provide the correct spiritual input, but it's not always happening - result the government is saying, "You all come", and bring your pagan religions with you. Since I have only 85 words to express my thoughts - will have to stop, but there is more.

That one piqued my interest too, Jack.
John, could you give us more information on needing a license to baptize? Where is this happening?
---AlwaysOn on 9/7/06|
Yes! Welfare is what the church should be doing.

John:**I hear that some countries are now issuing baptism licences the same as marriage.**
I've heard of "civil baptism" in the name of liberty, equality, and fraternity happening sometimes during the French Revolution, but nowhere else.
Can you be more specific, John?

EMG, I am in basic agreement with you. I feel the same way about poverty throughout the world. Gods resources are more then sufficient to supply all needs,,, it is our own sin that is responsible for people being without, dying of starvation etc.

If the church were following scripture and looking after its own needy, widows etc. there would be no need for the benefits systems that some countries have. We allowed our governments to take over ONE job we should have been doing and now they are taking over EVERYTHING and telling us what we can and cannot do.
