Yes, I do have some advice. Ask your husband to handle the money and give you so much per week to spend as you please. The same thing happened to my son. His wife wouldn't pay the bills and would spend the money. He now pays the bills and watches money closely.

Take a good personal finance class. You will learn how to save, spend wisely, invest your money. Then pray and ask the Lord to help you use what you learn in the class. Give to your church. Give a little to help others. Even if it is a very small amount.God will bless you for that.

Get a routin going on. I use cash, I don't do checks, because they mess me up everytime. I have different compartments in my purse, 1. tithes, (if you don't, do worry about that) 2. money for bills, 3. what is left over if any, Hee, hee. I write down everything that I can pay, and I put them away in there own place, until I can pay them. this may not work for anyone else, but I have been doing this for 6 years, and it works for me. Other advice, stop spending what you don't have.

Is your husband good with money? If so give him the debit cards credit cards checkbook and all financial responsibility this is what my husband had to do he gave me everything cause he is an uncontrollable spender. I allowance him money for work and and gas so forth as he needs it if I give him 20 for the week for lunch I give it to him a bit at a time he would spend the 20 in one day...ask your husband to help you it works for us and he appreciates it.

Years ago, I asked God why I earned a decent salary, yet still lived check to check. God told me to tithe and if I gained discipline in tithing, He would lead me in all my finances. I tithed that Sunday. Days later, got a sizeable check from an unexpected source. Next day, another one and then a third check from the same source. Got a raise on my job shortly after, was literally given a new car and managed to qualify for a loan on a new home despite shaky credit, all within months of tithing.

First you need to pay your tithes. Second put all your bills down on paper and go over it with your husband. Third you need to stop spending when you shouldn't be spending. It's up to you to stop. No one else can do it for you. It sounds like a good idea for your husband to handle the finances is he is able to do so.

I was bad with my money before I got married. This is what helped me. Make a monthly budget. Take out the tithe as soon as you get paid. Pay bills as soon as they come in or put money aside for them to be paid later. If you eat out all the time, put the money towards groceries instead and get into cooking. Don't go shopping for anything else until you have spending money.

Pray and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to set you free from this bondage.

Give your husband all of your plastic cards. Do not shop without a plan. Make a budget and stick to it. Shop for groceries with a list and don't go shopping for anything else without discussing it with him first.
