Talk To Living Or The Dead

Who would you love to talk to for a while, living or dead, if you had a chance? Me, I think besides my son who died 10 years ago at 19, I think it'd be kind of cool to talk to Adam and Eve. And of course, Jesus.

sue, I am sooo very sorry to hear your son passed away 10 years ago at age 19. What happened? My heart truly goes out to you. That must have been horrific and devastating. For some reason, when I hear of someone dying, whether or not I know them, I get upset and stay upset for about a week. I pray alot in the spirit for the family's grief, but why do I take on that grief for a week? Anyone know? I am an intercessor, but I don't know these families, yet I grieve for them.

I would love to talk to my parents. They've been gone for years...but I think of them often. I'll see them both one day, and Jesus, too!

Donna, compassion for people, the same way Jesus did. He also grieved for certain people. But there is a time for grieving and a time for letting go of grief and in your case it's a week because you know that your prayers have been answered that the person who is grieving is comforted.

First of all let's be clear that there is "no chance" that you will talk to a dead person!
So the choice is limited to the living now or those who have died and will talk again AFTER they are resurrected! That is when we will talk again to those we love(d)like your son and my parents! P.

Alan, You are a card... :o)
Sue, In heaven, I think I'd like to sit with Paul a while, and then perhaps Ruth - Here on earth, Elizabeth Elliot and Joni Eriksen Tada.

Jesus is alive and sits at the right hand of God. You can talk to him every minute of every day if you choose. Sorry about your son.

Donna, I'm so sorry for your feeling grief like that. Dont be sad! I know I will see my son again. He is no longer in pain and he isn't suffering anymore. He was away at college when he died. Long story. Dont want to get into it, but thank you so much for your thoughts/prayers. God Bless.

Alan, Well, yea, I know that we should NOT really talk to the dead, this is just a silly question actually. Just for fun. How about this: WHEN you get to heaven, who would you like to talk to?
Shira,I remember when you're daughter passed away. It would be wonderful, wouldn't it?

I would love to sit down and talk to Noah. Because he found grace in God. I would have loved to be close to Joshua when he marched around Jericho. And Meshack, Shadrack, and Abandego when they danced in the flame with the Lord. I would love to see that happen in this day and time. But I would love to be able to talk to my mom one more time. But I know it won't be long until I can see and talk to all of these people.

A difficult question ... we are told not to talk to the dead.
But we can and should talk to Jesus. He is alive

If I had my daughter back, I would spend every minute with her. I would let everything elso go and just sit with her.
