Go back to the Word and look up several texts that affirm the complete cleansing of our 'filthy rags' as a result of His blood and His wilingness to forgive and FORGET!! Let there be no doubt about it! P.

pre is taken care of they don,t exists anymore.thats a fact thats why jesus died on the is a matter of obeying God AND repenting.we must not allow our lifestyle to drag us back into disobidience, and separating our minds from Gods word.

#1Where in God's word does He promise to remove the *feeling* of guilt from our past or present sins? The *fact* of our guilt before God is indeed removed-gone as far as the east is from the west-from God's eyes. But you are not God, and neither am I. The *feeling* of guilt may crop up again once in a while. I would imagine that for David, even though he was forgiven in God's eyes of the sin of adultery and murder, the feeling of guilt never left him. Even so, he is forgiven.

#2Think of the mother who leaves her 3 yr old in the bathtub for just a few minutes and returns to find the child drown. The sin of carelessness is forgiven and forgotten by God, but the *feeling* of guilt might not be forgotten by the mother in this life. God does not promise to remove the consequences of our sin. He promises to remove the *fact* of our guilt before Him. You are forgiven, whether or not you *feel* forgiven. Jesus lived the perfect life, and died on the cross for you.

There is no condemnation in those who are in Christ Jesus. If you honestly repented, God forgave, and that sin is gone. God would never have a person feel guilty of a sin that was repented of already. Try the Spirits, and receive God's peace. --Mrs. Morgan

Remember it is the accuser who wants you to remain in your guilt and powerless. You have an advocate in Christ Jesus who has set you free!

Recognize WHOSE you are. Make sure you confessed them to God completely. So, the next time, go ahead and make sure you confessed. Then, when they try to come on you or bring guilt to you, remember that JESUS took our guilt and our shame. Our confessed and forgiven sins are in the sea of forgetfulness and there is a NO FISHING! sign posted there.

When anyone brings your past up(including yourself) repeat My sin's are in the Sea of forget where God dumped them and if anyone wants to go get their swimmimg cozzies or trunks they'll need more than wellies and and umbrella to go find them cos the East will never meet the West so (LEAVE IT) LOL

No sweat Nady, the scriptures say that when we repent and ask forgiveness God is JUST and ABLE to Forgive us. He removed your sins the moment you asked, you just have to believe. God is not like man or the devil(accusers of our soul) who constantly reminds of our past. God said our sins are removed from us as far as the East is From the West and dumped in the Sea of Forget so Accept and enjoy your new found life in Christ.

The truth is not always fun to deal with, and it can be painful, but do not give in to those thoughts of self pity or self loathing. You are a Child of God. Nothing you did or will do can separate you from his love. Do not lose hope. There is light at the end of this tunnel, but the sooner you deal with the core of your emotions, the sooner you will live in the freedom of God's grace. I pray God reveals this to you in his perfect timing, and that you allow him to do a good work in you. God bless.

Along with studying the scriptures, and allowing them to take root in you, bring those emotions that come with the sin to the Lord whenever they surface. If you are angry, ask the Lord to remove the anger and help you to forgive. Whether it be hurt, depression, guilt, shame, anger, fear or something else, give it to the Lord as needed. I had days where I gave it to him several times in just a few hours! To be cont.

Assuming you have repented and turned from your old ways, you are a new creation. Your sins are forgiven. The past is the past. Study God's word, and ask for God to reveal to you who you are in Christ, and how God sees you. Once that revelation has been made, stand on the truth of God's word. Get those scriptures in your heart, and mind. When thoughts of the past come to mind, don't dwell on them, but rather dwell on those scriptures of truth. To be cont.

Purge your conscience of dead works and serve the living God.(Hebrews 9:14)
Renew your mind on God's faithfulness to forgive.(Romans 12:2; Joshua 1:8; Micah 7:19; Isaiah 43:25; I John 1:9; Romans 8:1; 2Corinthians 5:21) By faith recieve God's forgiveness & forgive yourself. God is faithful to forgive(Lamentations 3)

Such a person should return to the Word and read how surely and completly we are forgiven if we confess our sins and repent.

Be prayerful, and active afterward to resolve any remaining issues. If there's nothing you can do pray again with repentance and trust Jesus to forgive them, thanking him.
I speak from experience and tell you I was an staunch enemy of the cross before I was converted, I turned as many as I could away from Jesus.
His love is stronger than our worst sin, accept it, and love much.

Consider this. If God has forgiven you of your sin, and you cannot forgive yourself, you are, in effect, saying that you have a higher standard than God.

"As far as the east is from the west, so far as He removed our iniquities from us."

Also, in the Apostles' Creed, it says, "I believe in the forgivenss of sins"--does it say that you are an exception? No, it means that YOU must believe your sins are forgiven.

Be quick to confess your sins and then believe God. Almighty God says you're forgiven. If you are experiencing guilt that means you have not believed God. Of course it is a trick of Satan to bring your sense to your mind. But once they come to mind you have the opportunity to ask forgiveness for them and having done so stand fast in your trust in Almighty God.
