Money For The Gospel
Purely hypothetical, but if you were given $1000 for everyone that you shared the gospel with (one on one...no groups!), what would your gross monthly income be? Would the # of people jump drastically from how many you share it with now? Why or why not?

No change, Jesus is all I think about, and therefore who I love to talk about.
I even told my wife there's another love in my life; been meeting secretly for years! She said who is she?
I said it's a he. I didn't have to explain.

My husband would be a multi-millionaire. He makes sure he mentions Jesus to almost everyone he meets----just in case they don't know him.

Is now 10 p.m. September 30 '06 and I have just returned from seven hours of witnessing in a country fair. I have attended three country fairs, witnessed in two public parks during the month. I have made an effort to keep up with the number of people I witnessed too. That number is somewhat over 550 people this month. Over 50% led to salvations.

I just re-read my last post and it doesn't sound quite the way I meant it to. What I meant to say was that I imagine a lot more people would gladly share the gospel if they could earn $1000 each time they did so. It made me wonder why it would take this to motivate some.
Glad to see everyone here is already doing the work...for the right reasons!

Thanks for your kind words...I'm fond of you too. The $1000 is for sharing. So, yeah, your email counts.
When I heard the question (I didn't think of it, Mima), I envisioned people pouring into the streets early in the morning and working into the night, excited and gung ho about sharing the gospel. Then, I began to wonder how many people's incomes would drastically increase. It's an interesting thought to ponder.

AlwaysOn, you know you are one of my favorite people on this blog. So I have to ask you this question: Would we be given $1000 for just sharing the gospel or $1000 if we shared it and they accepted Jesus and repented and turned from their lifestyle and started walking with Jesus? I share with everyone I meet. I just sent someone an email saying, "Don't worry, I am your John the Baptist, I will stick up for you." Do I get $1,000 for that? or only if they get saved? LOL

Last month's income between 25 and 30,000.
This month income todate(September 6th) 3000 however before the end the month my income should total over $250,000.(The local State fair starting Saturday will run for eight days). This is a great question wish I would have thought of it.

Money should never come into when preaching the Gospel. "Freely you have received, freely give" (Matthew 10:8). It is not ok to even hypothesise on it either because you are likely to give somebody the wrong idea.
