yes, Bill Cooper said it right, are the churches today, "entertaining the goats, or feeding the sheep?"

Just for the record, I am a HUGE FAN, of Charles Spurgeon, A truly amazing preacher.
Though dead now, his words will live on. So influential with me. A man after Gods own heart really.
---Cynthia_1 on 5/7/07

I had not but have now read the letter.
I would ask why the author refers to Charles Spurgeon as "infamous"
---alan8869_of_UK on 5/1/07

Those are not my words I simply felt that the statememt was damaging since another website made a specticle of the statement about alcoholism.

Moderator - You must have read a different article as this article had nothing to do with the topic you mention.

Moderator, can you find out why CN referred to Charles Spurgeon as being "infamous"? Thanks.

Moderator - Thanks for pointing out the typo. We are fixing it now.

I saw this letter as stating the fact that people are in need of TRUTH, of which there is so little of today. Any ministry or pastor can come on line and read many of these posts to see where the Body of Christ is lacking in understanding of sound doctrine.
I think this site is a great tool, very challenging and educational. It's real life in "Real Time".

Carla, the article was a press release by ChristiaNet not some other media organization. Your comments don't make any sense unless you are stating that the ChristiaNet website is non-Christian?
---Moderator on 9/7/06

Whom ever wrote the the artical, it just seemed very subjective and it almost boarded on the grounds of critisism of it's own. I did not see the reason for it really, and one thing I did learn in English apart from good grammer and spelling :) Was, what benefits would the media gain by stating how someone robbed a bank? Who would the Media Seek to empower? Do you get my drift!

A Bible teaching environment is needed. It makes a good point about the interest of Internet questions regarding True Christianity. I took the Quiz before responding to this blog, it was educational. We must have Bible knowledge of the Truth before we can truly convey the gospel message. It is with personal understanding and experiencing God's teachings in our life by the Holy Spirit in Jesus that we can answer those who are asking for the reason for the "hope that is in us".

Jack I cannot understand why you couldn't get it. I've just tried again with the words I gave you 'ChristiaNet Open Letter to Pastors and Priests' and it is there - top of the list on GOOGLE. Carla, to whom would you say it is distasteful?
---M.P. on 9/7/06

Bill Cooper: That is an excellent article!
---kathr4453 on 9/7/06

Jack I got it first time & have just tried again & it is still there
