What Do We Agree On
What are the things we bloggers agree on when it comes to the bible? There seems to be division over extrabiblical doctrines like OSAS, slain in the Spirit, altar calls, personal saviour, sinners prayer, etc. But what is it we all agree to?

We should all agree on the plan of Salvation. That Jesus is the son of God.He came to this world to save us from our sins. He died, was buried and rose on the 3rd day.We should believe this in our hearts and confess it with our mouths and we shall be saved. All the other stuff we disagree on does not matter.Jesus will set all that in order when he comes. Our opinions does not matter nor will it change God ways or thinking. It is all about God and not us. If we remember this, we will do alright.

I think we agree on one God, His Son, Jesus Christ...who was born of a virgin, died on a cruel cross, arose in 3 days and assended into Heaven. I think we agree "Ye must be born again." I hope so anyway.

That Jesus died and rose again according to the Scriptures. Our common ground is that Jesus is Lord and we believe God raised Him from the dead.

Ditto what almost everyone here has written, and just to add that I think we all agree to love the Lord and our neighbor with all our hearts.
Or as St. Paul put it..
"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal."

That Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one gets to the Father except through Him.

Sadly, I have not found anything that we all agree on. Even salvation is not totally agreed on -- some here erroneously claim that Water Baptism plays a part in salvation, others claim sacraments etc.

I will start with two to get this started! This could be a real tough one, but will be interesting to follow.
First, And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald... Leviticus 13:40
Second, The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.... Psalm 14:1

Hopefully we all believe that Jesus is God Incarnate in a unique incarnation, fully divine and fully human, that He literally died and literally rose from the dead for our salvation.
And that at some point He is returning--just don't set any schedules, much less dates.
