Churches are businesses who value church growth and money more than individuals spiritual growth or salvation. I need to whine about the many factions(denominations and cults), also. Even though this apostacy is prophecied for the latter days, I just have to complain. I would love a wholesome place to go where LOVE prevails and fruits are demonstrated but we just can't find it around here. Boo! I meet Christians and get better fellowship in the world. I don't think there is a one true church.Period:)
---jody on 5/12/08

greetings, i would like to whine about the whiners that whine through prayer requests.
why would God answer any of those whiny prayers. i don't think they're being answered because you see the same whiny requests day after day.
---earl on 5/12/08

Truth sometimes need to be explained. A few words can't do that. Some things cannot even be explained. No words are needed.
---Robyn on 5/10/08

Linda :: I like that concise true and to the point.Like I maintain TRUTH is always found in a few choice words.
---Emcee on 5/1/08 Bible says to do all things without murmuring or complaining. And it even tells us what kind of things to think on. What you spend the most time meditating on will dominate you. That is where complaining comes from. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. An ungrateful, murmuring heart eventually makes itself known in, well, murmuring and complaining.
---Linda on 5/1/08

I don't believe that we should be whining. We should stick to issues. Important ones. Like terrorist and false preachers, not loving this world or the things in it ect. What to put on your body when you go to church, you know, stuff like that!
---catherine on 5/1/08

Robyn :: You just exposed a counterfeit personage masquerating and at the same time exposed Your own feelings. Hope this utilisation of Your relief Valve brings you peace and contentment as a good Christian.I have already posted several times on this post so why would I make that statement. If you don't believe me check for yourself.
---Emcee on 4/30/08

Emcee: Well this blog is not for you. See you around.Whining has it's positive side.If everyone kept their mouths shut and never complained about anything we all would be in bad shape. Just imagine: If these poor little altar boys kept letting these evil decrepit so-called priests keep hurting them, they way they have,it never would have been uncovered and dealt with. Even though nothing positive has been done about it.I listen when people complain or whine. Whining is necessary, sometimes.
---Robyn on 4/30/08

ts, you are very l-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-ong winded.
---Eloy on 4/24/08

The baptism of the Holy Ghost is supposed to give Christians a Spirit of boldness as it did the early church that withstood criticizm and persecution.
Using multiple names and posting trash using someone else's name shows an immaturity, unwillingness to be persecuted and a lack of the Spirit of God in their lives.
It's better to stand while all hate you than to cower to these tactics like an immature baby or unbeliever.
When so-called Christians do it, it stinks!
---Frank on 4/23/08

Well said. Thank you.

---Emcee on 4/23/08

TS it sounds like you are complaining about something that you wrote and it was not published. How else would you know what has or has not been written?
Stop and be thankful for what you have here and not for what you want.
---Elder on 4/23/08

I've read rotten comments towards the Moderator printed when biblical comments are not printed with scripture.
I've read the most un-Christ-like replies printed while thoughtful, scriptural answers are deleted. It leads to resentment and the daily reminder to use Christ-like replies is barely noticed when mean, cruel answers are allowed.
---TS on 4/23/08

There needs to be changes. When bloggers can make false allegations towards other bloggers they cannot stand to get them removed. That's wrong, it's deceitful and wicked.

So let's have one blog without names, no cruel comments and see where the discussion goes.
---TS on 4/23/08

People have figured out that by rapidly changing names, they can keep dancing.
And that's exactly what's happening. There's only a handful of bloggers on here using so many names. We've all figured it out the game. So let's stop all of this resentment, one blog with no names allowed, no cruelty - Moderator Tear This Wall Down.
---TS on 4/23/08

Favoritism towards any blogger fosters resentment. We all know that the game goes beyond the blogs but behind the scenes blogger who want all opposition removed, use our names or write to the Moderator to strongly complain. We know it works, because many names are never heard from again.
This needs to be stopped. It's a wicked game of controlling the blogs.
---TS on 4/23/08

Gasoline is $4 bucks a gallon in Frisco. People are parking their cars and taking the Bart. It's costing $120.00 to fill up a tank.
I think we better use coffee in our tanks, a cup of Starbucks is $4 bucks, too. Make your own homebrew and walk, ride your bike or attach yourself to party balloons and hope you make it there.
---Molly on 4/23/08

Moderator, I have a suggestion.
Instead of a whining blog, how about a free for all blog. One blog where everyone can let everyone have it without any foul language. One blog where there is no moderation. Let everyone tell each other what they really think, get it out of their systems. I think it would be the most popular blog on the blogs.
---TS on 4/23/08

One blog, without moderation where the bloggers cannot strike out too personally but about whatever they want without foul language. No "Tourettes Syndrome" let it rip offensive words, but "True Sentiments".
---TS on 4/23/08

One blog where we can let it all hang out about what we think about 85 words or less.
What we think about bloggers that use multiple names.
What we think about various doctrines without being censored.
---TS on 4/23/08

Here's a suggestion for that one blog where others can say what they really think. No names allowed as first names. Use dashes or dots, no names. It would take the personal attack out of the picture. One blog, a free for all discussion about anything. Any religion, all thoughts, no foul language.
It would be very freeing and might stop the resentment that has built up over the years.
---TS on 4/23/08

The reason we don't see a continuation of good Christian Christ-like replies is because we know what each other believes and thinks, regardless of how many names a person uses. All of those names are meaningless because we know what they really think.
Let's have a blog with no names for a discussion about wherever the bloggers take it. No mean hearted, mean spirited taking each other's names and writing judgmental, highly critical answers.

---Emcee on 4/21/08

Macky: You need to show more love and mercy toward others. Whine may not be your cup but it helps others. People should learn to be more transparent and learn to reach out for help. Everyone does not feel the way you do.People do what they know how to do and that is.... whine.Dogs bark. People whine.

I'm so angry! Last night at Christmas celebration I overheard my sister-in-law saying we should put my mom in a home so she can get quality care, good food, etc. I am her caretaker right now! I stopped everything in my life to move next door to her, take excellent care of her, NOBODY else even calls her, let alone comes to visit her and yet they think they can have a 'family meeting' about this and not even invite me!Maybe if they'd visit her they'd know how well she's being taken care of.

I really love snow. it is really cool to see how people can be seen in a purer sense when it snows. people help each other more (expecially when you go off the road or get stuck) But I really hate shovleing snow. As a pastor and a janitor at another church I have to do alot. and after getting 12 inches Last night we really had alot to shovel. (but It's really really fun anyhow. I just wish I had a good hill to slide down, oh and a back that wouldn't hurt when I fall off the sled)

Dear Emcee. An icon is a small picture or lifted photo. Most forums I am on have them next to their names. Some move a a bit, some are in glitter words or small pictures. One Christian forum has big lovely Christian theme pictures on their replies. I can get the icons but not get them elsewhere except on emails. Virginia

irene , I will pray for your son's family, I know what it is like. God will help, and provide, trust in Him, and lean not on your own understanding. You are in my prayers,God Bless.

JohnT is right. Schools need to document everything. It may seem like a simple request to you, but there needs to be documentation of the request, and there needs to be an adult supervising your child during recess. When my students are at recess, it is my lunch break. John's suggestion of having the doctor write out the need your son has, and then making sure it is in the nurse's hands, you make a copy for yourself.
---Madison1101 on 10/3/06

Pamela, this is a case of being over zealous, and it is a case of the nurse covering her er, job.
Send to the head nurse, and the principal a REGISTERED letter explaining your valid medical concerns, as well as your intention to excersize parental discernment in requesting inside recess due to excessive pollen counts. Tell them how you will notify the school of your limited requests, and indicate the method of communication.

Should not go further if you are nice about it.

I think there's many argumentative answers to blogs. Angry responses as though defending a personal attack. If there's noone moderating blogs keeping untruth out, responders must accept others' opinions without rancor. God's peoples righteous judge, not us. It's possible sharing opinions without attacking personally & "stomping" on their beliefs. With gentleness make the Truth known to others Eph.4:2. Col.4:5-6 --take opportunities to speak with grace, "flavorful" (salt,Mark 9:50).

I get weird mail from young men, and women. Mostly sob stories or thinly veiled plans of getting to the US.

Mrs. Morgan we've had our differences, but I will agree on your assesment of Alan! He's only 66, and a very attractive man. If I were single and lived in England....oh well nevermind, I'm not and I don't......

You guys may have had letters from young winsome female from Nigeria or Liberia or where-ever. I get them from young men, who all want to be my best buddy, and seriously discuss the state of my spiritual health. They seem to come from similar countries as the young women. I just delete them. JohnT Yes I think that when they immediately give an email address, there si something wrong. Maybe a pssoble scam (and there are many) but perhaps just wanting a visa!
But some I think are probably innocent, and don't realise that in our Western cultures, the age difference would not normally be acceptable.
And in any case, I would get worn out!

I know I am complaining-whining. Moderator why are cult followers- evolutionist and other Anti-Christ bloggers allowed? Do not apostate views confuse believers and lead away those who are seeking the truth? It is possible more Christians would come to these blogs without all the confusion these people add.

Moderator - We allow it for two main reasons. Our hope is that the true Christians blog back and forth with them and that spiritual eyes are opened and hearts changed. In addition, Christians need to learn how to defend the faith.
