Satan's Strategies For You

Has anyone else noticed Satan's strategies to keep people out of heaven. 1) Keep people away from the cross, 2) If he loses you at the cross than he attempts to keep you there so you can't mature, 3) If he sees you maturing he unloads with an arsenal of false doctrines to confuse you?

3 Satanic strategies:

(1) Confuse people about "knowing" vs. "believing" - memorize the Bible and go to church every Sunday and you still might not be saved, yet an illiterate living in a country where churches are illegal might be saved.

(2) Preventing Christians from developing a personal relationship with God. ("God speaks only through the Bible")

(3) If you listen to God's voice, play ventriloquist ("God's busy...may I help you?"

In the Christians life Satin does two things that are often successfull. He diverts the Christians focus and perverts the christians soul.
---Marcia on 7/23/07

#1 satan wants you to think he doesn't exist
#2 he wants you to think there is no hell
#3 he wants you to live in sin
#4 he wants you to disobey God
#5 and he'll get you there with your self-esteem and pride
#6 keep you distracted with movies / internet

Has anyone noticed Jesus' strategy to get people to Heaven?

---Tower_Gaurd on 7/22/07

You build a relationship by getting to know that person. Would you marry a person without knowing that person? Of course not. Most Christians today know only a small part of God. They learn about him by jumping around the Bible and learning only verses. Would you read a novel starting on page 77, then to page 17, then to page 177?

Try reading the Bible from beginning to end, it'll put a whole new perspective about who God really is.

Just by what I read below, you shouldn't be so sure of your superficial belief and the deceiving power of Satan. For it's written that he will rise and fool even the elect, if that were possible. How do you build a strong foundation that will build a strong personal relationship with God so that you won't waver with every false doctrine and frivolous debate that divides most Christians today?

Dottie, here's the page.

Satan's greatest weapon to keep unbelievers from getting saved is that he tells them that they have no sin and they are really "good" people. He uses religion a lot of the time to do it.

Faith is the armor of light, what does that mean, Dottie?
---R.A. on 9/27/06

Ryan, the secret of Maturity is at the cross. Satan would love to draw people away from the cross after they are saved, putting them back under the law, etc.
Read Galatians...To live in the Spitit has a 2 fold process, Romans 8:11-13, It keeps the old adam nature where it belongs, and produces the life of Christ being formed in us, that would be the New Adam, Galatians 2:20&21.

I wish to keep my eyes on the Lord, and not put too much emphasis on satan and his strategies. We know he wishes to kill and destroy, whereas God gives life, reconciles, delivers...Keep praising and worshipping Jesus, a strategy that has defeated the enemy before and will continu to do so

Satan has no power over the believer except that which he is given by the believer. However there is nothing he can do to deny the believer entrance into heaven. The believer is one who relies on, trust in, adhere to, and depends upon the Fathers word of salvation and the atoning sacrifice of Jesus. That one is more than a conquer because he/she has been given the victory secured by Jesus and recieved by faith. I choose to be about the Fathers business and place my thoughts on Him.

Satan is the master of deception & a destroyer of souls -how do we know that who is being Fooled, yes as we even speak.the antidote lies in Jesus's words "He who eats my Body & drinks my Blood I live in Him & he in ME"& this is only Possible by avoiding any kind of sin,Being contritely sorry if & when we do transgress, staying in the state of Grace.Because Satan cannot attack any soul who has Jesus B&B in him.

#2-satan has taken her down a path of deception to the point where I'm scared for her life because she believes God is responsible for her poverty, for not giving her her damaged eye back and for not sending her another husband. I have been interceding for her for 2 years now and no breakthrough. I'm concerned that her life is being destroyed by satan, what can we do to help her?

I agree wholeheartedly with all of you so far that have responded. However my close friend of 20 years is so deceived because satan has gotten her to believe lies about God, about her family, about people having Jezebel spirits, etc., So I would like to know, besides praying and fasting, how to make her aware of what she's doing. She won't receive from me or anyone, EVERYONE in her eyes is wrong except her. This would be a good discussion to know how to break deception off of a person's life.

The good news for Christians is that we know that Satan was defeated. When you daily seek God, and His wisdom, there is NO FEAR. Your Faith is your armor of light. Put on the whole armor of God. We do not wrestle with flesh and blood, but against principalities. Jesus gave us our Victory. Live in the word, and there is nothing to fear.

Ryan - Yes I have seen the enemie's strategies. His one and only aim is to lead Christians away from the Cross of Christ and Jesus finished work there. There are plenty of false doctrines abounding to which the devil will only too happily lead gullible Christians to.
---Helen_5378 on 9/19/06

Ryan, A Christian's only safety is in the Word, abiding in It, anything that conflicts with God's Truth should be rejected. Any thought, any notion, any doctrine, any attitude, anything that is contrary, reject it, this is the sound doctrine that my minister's preaches and I stick to It, it's very easy to understand. --Mrs. Morgan

Amen! Rachel and Tower!

The enemy deserves no glory and no place. The less we concern ourselves with what he has in his bag of tricks, the less power he has over our lives. If we listed all the things he's done to each one of us, it would bring on defeat. The devil is a defeated foe. Let's give GOD, All the Glory. Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, Lord Jesus Christ, forever and ever! Rev 5:13
