The baptism of fire is what happened on the day of Pentecost, and it is what is going to happen to the entire body of Christ just before Christ returns. Jesus says that He makes His ministers a flame of fire. To walk in the baptism of the fire of the Holy Ghost is to walk in the fullness of the anointing. It is the full authority and armor of God upon His people. When the baptism of fire is poured out on the bride of Christ in these last days, all of creation shall witness the full manifestation of the sons and daughters of God. This will provoke Israel to jealousy and all of Israel shall be saved, as it is written. Romans 10:19-20 and Romans 11:25-27 This is Paul's ministry....the mystery of God!

fire is to burn away trash, and refine what cannot be burned away. like a clay pot in a kiln.
meaning the fire of the Holy Spirit cant hurt the inner man born of the incorruptible word of God.

but it burns away all that is to be counted of no value when it comes to being made a vessel of honor to be used for noble works of God.

for the child of God there should be no fear of that kind of consuming fire of God.

It is a baptism of refiner's fire of Mal. 3:2 this lines up with 1Cor.3:13-15 which tells of everything we do here that will be completely immersed in fire to see what kind of work it is.
It is a baptism of illumination of Matt.5:4" are the light..."
It is a baptism of judgement. Matt.3:4 He will gather His... but will burn the rest with fire.

YOu can come to JEsus through the waters of baptism, and He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit, or you can refuse and be baptized in the fire of hell.

Baptism with fire is our salvation experience.

John baptized with water.
Jesus baptizes with fire.

"Who are rest of dead?"

The unsaved. The first resurrection is for believers. The second resurrection is for the lost.-Revelation 20:13-15

Rev.Herb. "Everywhere the Bible speaks of fire it speaks of judgement"? In Ex. 31:21 the fire by night in the wilderness was a fire to give light not judgement. Other places fire gives warmth and for preparing food.

Revelations 20:4,5 and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God,and which worshipped not the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,or in their hands;and they lived and reigned with Christ the thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurection,it's after tribulation, mark of beast, not all Christians will take part. Who are rest of dead?

Jamea, readRev20:4-5yes the saints share in reign of Christ over the/entire universe during the 1000 years. They are/not reigning on/the earth, they/are with Christ/in heaven.During this/time, God opens the records and/shows the righeous why/the wicked are/not there. This is/the second phase of judgment. Our God is/so fair and just that He wants all questions answered completely. Perhaps the saints may wonder why certain people are not in heaven.During 1000year judgment session, they will be able 2find out.

Every where the bible speaks of fire, it means judgement. Christians are baptized with the Holy Ghost, sinners by fire.

Jesus will literally return to earth after the tribulation. The Jews were promised a king, Jesus will be that king during the 1000 year reaign. The rapture will happen before the tribulation starts.

"Yet many in the Christian World teach that a person is automatically baptised in the Holy Ghost when they are saved."
Scripture shows this isn't true in every case- Acts 8:12-17, it also shows at the day of pentecost the Holy Ghost falling and no laying on of hands and no water baptism until later!

Others teach that you recieve at baptism.

Jesus said to pray for it. (Luk 11:13) Plenty have said a sinner's prayer with no change. I believe Jesus; let them first and only believe.

jamea5375 , (6.) The Great White Throne Judgment , also known as judgment day for sinner's or the "Second Resurrection", "Resurrection of the Dead" or the"Second Death" will take place after this 1,000 year reign(Revelation 20:5)(Revelation 20:7-15).
---Mrs._Morgan on 9/22/06

jamea5375 , (5.) During the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth, Satan will be bound during this time , then released just for a little while at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ(Rev. 20:3,7), then he and his followers(his children, the unsaved) will be cast into the lake of fire(Rev.20:10)...
---Mrs._Morgan on 9/22/06

jamea5375 , (4.) ...but the unsaved will not be allowed to "manifest their sins" until satan is released for a "season" (it's interesting that the Bible doesn't say that salvation is even offered during this time, it looks like The 7 year Great Tribulation Period may be the "last chance" for sinner's to get saved)...

jamea5375 , (2.) The 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth is mentioned in the Bible (Isaiah 11:6-8),(Micah 4:1-3, 4,5) and in the book of "Revelation" , it is also referred to as the "millenium age", "Perfect Age" or the "Kingdom Age" The world goes into this "Age" After the 7 year Great Tribulation period(which concludes with Armageddon)...

Dear Ryan, You are talking about (2 Peter 3:10-14), God will cleanse the Earth during the Great Tribulation Period through His judgments and with Fire, in other words, He will "renovate" the Earth by judgments and fire. After the 7 year Great Tribulation Period(which concludes with Armageddon) the earth will be cleansed , thus suitable for Christ to reign for 1,000 years. God Bless.

(4.)(Acts 2:4)"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." Paul asked believer's have you received the Holy Ghost yet?(Acts 19:2) Salvation is a gift and so is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is often confused the gift of "Diver's Tongues" 1 of the 9 Gifts of the Spirit mentioned in(1 Corinthians 12:10 ),but these are two different experiences with different functions.God Bless.

(3.)(Acts 1: 4,5)And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence....

(1.)Salvation and the The Baptism of the Holy Ghost are 2 Separate experiences, this is God's Truth, yet many in the Christian World teach that a person is automatically baptised in the Holy Ghost when they are saved. The True Holy Ghost will only Baptise a person who is Jesus Blood washed, having a clean tongue and life, a clean soul, no gossiping, no cussing, no unrepented sin. In this final hour it is not strange for a person to get saved......

That signifies the end of the mellenial reign when the Earth is burned up. This usheres in the end of the ages of hummanity.
