The difference is that in one you fulfill the desire of the Spirit and in the other you fulfill the desire of the flesh. It all boils down to choices.

walking in the spirit is a lifstyle of obidience to God,living in submission to his word. walking in the flesh is rejecting jesus, and Gods witness in the bible of him , and allowing the flesh to have control over your decisions, ego being lost in sin.God has said I set before you life and death choose.

Walking in the Spirit is walking in the Holy Spirit, which comes through praying. When you walk in this way, in prayer, then you are walking in God's supernatural grace. Otherwise, if you walk in the natural man, then you are without the armor of God. We are told to put on Christ, put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the ways of the devil.

walking in the spirit means walking in God's ways. First, we shed our past worldly ways, then baptism, then partaking of the Holy Communion then, walk with Christ. In everything we do, Christ comes first. We must daily refer to the Word and have a special hour or so with Him. Believe in Him, believe in what it is all about and believe that you are saved thru faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. Hold strong onto tht faith till the end. Daily, we must acknowlege Him.

a flesh walker functions outside the holy spirit. they think with there human mind and they rationalize and solve their problems that way as well. but a spirit walker sees and rationalizes in the spirit. I have learned that not all christian people function or think with their spirit minds. they talk spiritual but their thought processes are like those who are not saved. (worldly)

To walk in the Spirit is to first surrender every, yes every area of your self. Be filled with the Holy Spirit and watch the miracles happen.

Walking in the Spirit is trusting fully in Jesus' finished work on the Cross for victory over the world, the flesh and the devil in my life. Walking in the flesh is trying to live the Christian life in my own strength, and trying to overcome things in an unGodly way.

The answer is found in the question.

One is by the empowerment of the Father, the other is not.
