Has Anybody Seen God

The Council of Nicea in 325 A.D. decreed that Joseph a/k/a Jesus is true God from true God. While he was alive and in the flesh, Jesus said God is Spirit(John 4:24) and NO MAN HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME (John 1:18). Since millions of people saw Joseph-Jesus, how can Jesus be true God from true God?

Jack, Jack, Jack, since the native language of Jesus was ARAMAIC (smile), which is a Semitic branch in the AFRO-ASIATIC group of languages, and in ARAMAIC his name was Jeshua ben JOSEPH (son of Joseph), his name was indeed JOSEPH. Further, you ASSUMED that Jesus stayed in Galilee and Judea his whole life. Perhaps you can solve the mystery in the Bible surrounding HIS MISSING YEARS. I have researched this! Have you? I hope you know he traveled outside the region! Nice try! Come again!

1/ Christina, thanks for your post. When I first told Helen we will discuss the treatment of women in Scriptures, I mentioned that Jesus treated them equally. That is very consistent with the Jesus I have come to know from Jesus ALLEGEDLY being a member of one of those sects in Palestine. In the sect, members lived in a communal setting and the women were treated equally. The name of the sect is irrelevant. How the sect treated women is the issue. The sect had different names in different countries.
---I_AM_I on 10/18/06

2/ Christina, I am not looking to right all the wrongs in the world either. However, God wants us to worship in spirit and in TRUTH. John 4:24. If every single verse in the Bible is truthful, then those verses degrading women and treating them horribly must be true also and should be accepted by you and EVERYONE. Is that worshipping in truth?
---I_AM_I on 10/18/06

3/ Christina, like you, the God I know values women and men equally and has no favoritism between male and female. Therefore, where did the writers of the books of the Bible get their ideas to treat women terribly? If these ideas are not from God, then where did they come from? I have already stated on this site where they came from. Can you tell me where they came from?
---I_AM_I on 10/18/06

Helen, I am not trying to get you to question God's word. I am trying to get you to VIGOROUSLY question man's word! There is a difference. Remember, I am the person who does not question God. I will question everyone else except God. You have to know God's message from man's message. Helen, I know you accept EVERY single verse in the Bible as true. Therefore, please read my last post to Christina and answer the question of where the verses in the Bible that treat women terribly come from.
---I_AM_I on 10/18/06

According to the Bible,Jesus is the incarnate of the invisible God.Yes,the Bible says that God is a Spirit.Jesus is that Spirit made flesh.True,no one had seen God UNTIL He was manifested in the flesh.John 1:18 says "No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has delared Him." In other words, thanks to Jesus, the Father has been seen.Jesus said in regards to the Father "..from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him."-John 14:7
---Kay on 10/17/06

I AM I - Please do not bother trying to get me to question God's Word because you never will. God's Word is total truth right from "In the beginning" through to "Amen".

1/ Emcee, as I have previously informed you, this is not a popularity contest to me. I do not need any followers. God is my witness. Who else do I need? With respect to Helen and Christina, both of them know Scriptures. I promised Helen that I will discuss some topics in the Bible that will leave her questioning whether God, Jesus, Paul, the corrupted scribes, those political church councils or very biased Bible translators said certain things. One of the topics is the treatment of women in the Bible.
---I_AM_I on 10/17/06

2/ Emcee, since Helen knows how to cite Scriptures with the best of them, I certainly wanted to have her point of view on the subject. Likewise, I wanted Christina's point of view and she provided it. I happen to agree with Christina on the issue and not with some of the men who were on the blog. Guess what? I was not surprised by the responses from the men. If you know the history of the Judeo-Christian-Islam religions, the three major western religions, you too would not be surprised.
---I_AM_I on 10/17/06

3/ Emcee, I have answered your questions, including 4 times on one question. Have you answered any of my questions? We started talking about the devil or Satan and you quit on me. Why? I will answer the question of who is Yeshua ben Yosef shortly on the trinity blog. That will answer your question about Jesus being the creator, etc. In fact, I just finished posting the question on this blog there. Go challenge any erroneous biblical answers I give on that blog.
---I_AM_I on 10/17/06

I AM I, You say women are treated terribly in the bible...In some instances they were Jesus Himself for example. Some of the ways women have been treated historically has to do with culture or ignorance. I know God values woman just as He values men...He shows no favoritism. Thats enough for me... I cannot right all the wrongs in the world, but can point to Jesus...the way the truth and the life, the one who sets us free.
As for boasting in weakness, no, have not met many either

2/ Christina, I like your response on the male-female issue in the Bible. Women are treated terribly in the Bible. Sadly, there are some men on this site who are justifying such treatment. I hope you join us under the Feminist blog soon. Please bring Helen. I am still smiling! I dont know about you, but I intend to answer some of those timeless questions: Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I from, if any where? Where am I going, if any where? Notice the word "I" in all these questions.
---I_AM_I on 10/15/06

1/ Christina, the message you mentioned (in the trinity blog) that you posted here is still not on the blog. Also, I am unable to locate the original message I sent to you. Nonetheless, I was touched by those verses from Paul. They are so true. Including me, we have to overcome the ego in order to fully bask in Gods glory, as I have previously stated on this site. I have not met many people who boast about their weaknesses. Have you?
---I_AM_I on 10/15/06

"And I appeared unto Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as Almighty God, but by my name Jehovah, they never knew me."

TRUE and UNIMPEACHABLE WORD of God, even Jehovah, the spirit only God of the Old Testament. Later born as Jesus Christ, Jehovah was indeed seen by many men and women. The interpretation that God is SPIRIT ONLY is false doctrine. JESUS CHRIST is GOD. He lives, having been resurrected after his death on the cross. To claim Him spirit only, is to deny the literal resurrection.
---Robert on 10/10/06

I AM I, concerning feminist blog...I do not believe what man says about women, in particular that they are weak and cause of fall of man. That is blame shifting, for one thing. As Paul says, If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.2 cor 11:30 cont...

1/ Emcee, I am going to take the high road yet again! One of these days I am going to run out of cheeks to keep turning. Didn't Paul tell you that knowledge will come and go? How can I gloat on something that comes and goes? Knowledge is meant to be shared, and I am willing to share it with anyone. Your problem is you reject knowledge that contradicts your biblical teachings.
---I_AM_I on 10/8/06

3/ Emcee, I have never been satisfied with a superficial interpretation of Scripture. I will investigate all sources inside and outside of the Bible. Knowledge is boundless. The Bible, however, places boundaries on knowledge. Do you want to think outside of the box? When you answer my questions, I will gladly answer your new questions!

greetings, after reading several exchanges on this post not concerning this topic above but of satan who almost everybody fears as if he has a grip on ones soul and never lets go regardless of how much faith one has.satan is a single being.he is unparallel in nearsightedness for if he possessed the will of the Father he could see that his act of sin was a failure from the beginning.lucifer, satan and the prince of this world are three different beings un-omni-potent,scient,ficence,present,personal

If you get your answer correctly will you then believe in God? That's not what you are planning to do, i guess.
We who 'believe' may not have the perfect answer, simply because we 'believe' even without any proof. And bless those who believe without even seeing.
PS: You may want to question your motive for asking..

I AM I.. looks like the meaning of your question is initially trying to challenge others who believe in Jesus into giving you one smart answer or, simply so that they will question their belief (MAYBE?). If you only want to 'know' God, why bother this much? Just go try to find out other things around you on earth. Like your parents.. (continued...)

I AM I - There is not even one single thing that you have said in your last Blogs that comes anywhere near the truth. Scripture clearly teaches that Jesus is God, that Jesus is the Son of God. You are teaching heresy and for such if you do not repent you will go to hell for it. If you don't believe me then read Galatians 5:18-21 and 1 Corinthians 6:9,10.

I Am I, Then you are calling God a liar, because O.T. and N.T. Scripture both proclaim Jesus Christ as God Almighty in the flesh. And as far as being called gods, that basically refers to all of God's children, therefore one must be born-again in order to become one of his own, and also to produce any fruits which are supernatural in Christ. For indeed there is only one Everlasting God, only one Lord Jesus, and not many.
---Eloy on 10/2/06

3/ Emcee, I am not SUGGESTING (your word) that Jesus IS NOT GOD. I am EMPHATICALLY telling you that JESUS IS NOT GOD, the ONE GREAT UNIVERSAL LIFE FORCE THAT IS IN ALL THINGS, micro and macro, above and below, RA and MA. Now, of all the GREAT AVATARS, ADEPTHS AND SPIRITUAL TEACHERS that God has sent in this three dimensional earth, BROTHER JESUS was the greatest. 2/ Emcee, the BLESSED TRINITY you are talking about is problematic. It is a man-made creation and it is contrary to what Jesus taught. Jesus told us (me, you, and everyone on this site and in the world) that we are gods. Your BLESSED and invented TRINITY says we are not. Your trinity tells me that I can ONLY get to God through the intermediary Jesus. I talk to God frequently but not through Jesus. I chose to make my telephone calls to God directly rather than collect or indirect. Again, how about you?
---I_AM_I on 10/2/06

1/ Emcee, my answer was in my SIMPLE question to you. In the event you did not get my answer from the question, I stated my answer BLUNTLY. I asked you if you want TO KNOW GOD or BELIEVE IN GOD. In the very next sentence, I told you that I prefer TO KNOW GOD! Therefore, I do not need TO BELIEVE in God or YOUR trinity. I KNOW that I am a body, mind and soul in this earthly realm. Since I did not MAKE, CREAT OR EVOLVE myself into being, I KNOW my Creator, Maker or Evolver MUST BE THE SAME AS I AM!

I Am I, I have just had another thought. You will notice that when Jesus spoke of seeing the Father He did not mention creation, as the universe, stars, moon, sun, the earth, trees, man, or some other being. What he said in reference to the Father is & I quote. "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?" He mentioned that the Father was greater than Himself simply because the Father in the totality of His essence is not limited or confined to time.. [Cont.]

[Cont.] .. or space. Jesus openly proclaimed that "I and [my] Father are one" The word [one] as He uses it here is used numerically as one in the same. The only God per se. As concerning your quote "NO MAN HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME WHILE IN THE FLESH!" Here's mine "Not that any man has seen the Father, save (except) he which is of God, he hath seen the Father" John 6:46. He was not referring to Himself as that man given the context but rather to those around Him.
---joseph on 10/2/06

I AM I, yes, I have answered. When Jesus said that no man has seen God, he is speaking of unholy man, for some people, as myself have personally been visited by and have been spoken to and have been touched by God. To receive the whole truth, we should read all of the Scripture and not only part. Please read Genesis 32:30,31; Exodus 33:11,13,18-23; Deuteronomy 34:10; Matthew 5:8; 11:27; John 14:21,23; I John 3:6. BTW God's Spirit is the Holy Spirit, just as Scripture is Holy Scripture.

Joseph, thanks for your response. I briefly answered the question in my second response to Jack. Am I misinformed? I agree with you that God is in all things. In other words, God is UNIVERSAL. I agree that Jesus is a REFLECTION of the Father. The Bible tells us that and countless other sources tell us that. I DISAGREE with you that the Father can ONLY be perceived PHYSICALLY through Jesus, however! You contradict yourself here, since you have already told me that God is in all things.

Jack, Jack, Jack, you are NOT reading and interpreting your Bible carefully. In the verse Jesus said GOD IS SPIRIT. In some Bibles the verse reads, God is A Spirit. Note that Jesus DID NOT SAY God is the HOLY Spirit! The word holy is not in the verse. Again, Jesus said God is Spirit! When Jesus said God is Spirit he was in the flesh! He also said NO MAN HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME WHILE IN THE FLESH! Now, tell me how Jesus could possibly be God, since no man includes him in the flesh? Come again!
