well, here in western pa, we are wondering if the steelers are gonna have a winning season, fall is trying to rear it,s grip on the horizon. The seasons are a wondeful change but by far ,fall is my favorite, I just love the colorful change each year, the beauty that God has put into this cycle of seasons, and the change.

Madison, do you ever use a foot soak? I love them, then follow that with a minty foot lotion, oohhh feels so good.
---bethie on 10/12/06

Barb: Alan is around. I have seen him on some of the blogs.

My feet still hurt. We went on a class trip today to a Science museum. It was fun, but tiring.

I think all my kids may be home for Thanksgiving. I am looking forward to seeing them.

Where is Alan, has anyone seen him? I haven't been online much lately, but I haven't noticed any new blogs from him.
I'd like to see more blogs from Pharisee too! Yo, where are you Pete?

The local TV news is covering the Amish School Shooting. Tonight there was a huge prayer service in Lancaster, and Michael W. Smith sang a song he wrote for the victims, naming the girls who died in it. Someone from the Amish community visited the shooter's mother and told her they forgave the shooter. God is being praised on the local news by Christians who are being interviewed.

Madison, I also scrapbook, thats how I get most of the ideas for cards. The cards may be made, but how long will it take to sign them and address them and get them in the mail. I'm good at the fun part, but the work part...not so good at.
---bethie on 10/3/06

Bethie, I have my cards purchased. I don't make my own cards yet. My daughter, a scrapbooker, designs all of her own cards. She is very talented and creative. I knit and crochet. We go to craft stores and part company till we get to the registers. I buy yarn, and she buys paper and stickers and stuff like that.
---Madison1101 on 10/3/06

Oh thanks for making me feel slack Bethie! :-(
I don't even have a list made of addresses yet, nor made or bought any cards!
---NV_Barbara on 10/2/06

Woohoo, I have all my Christmas cards made already, and my list of what I make for everyone is done...way ahead of last year!
---bethie on 10/2/06

I'll be praying for you Pete, God bless your efforts.
I also want to say hello to all of you that I have been slack about writing to. Elder, Pete, Madison,Eloy,Debbie, Minhaj and any others I've missed. Things are settling down some and I should have more free time soon, and also have our own 'puters up and running late next week. Mom's computer is on dial up and so slowwwww! I can't wait to get back online on cable, this takes forever! Love and prayers to all of you!

Please pray for my former pastor's daughter. She is special needs and is a teenager. She is having hip surgery on both of her hips on Thursday morning. She cannot talk, and gets very upset when she comes out of anasthesia. Her name is Lindsay. Thanks.

tom2: I have been to the Jimmy Stewart museum and have visited the Indiana County Fair numerous times. My ex husband has family outside of Johnstown, in Vintondale. They had a golf course out there off of Rt. 22.
I know where California, PA is too. I have been to Pittsburgh numerous times in the past couple of years. Studied out there last summer. Beautiful city.

tom2: My youngest son lives in Pittsburgh, and my older son went to IUP in western PA. Do you live near either?
Barb: My mom just turned 80, and is never bored. I wish I could keep up with her at times. She is living a full life, just wish she had Jesus the way I do. She just does not have assurance of salvation.

I'm hoping to visit India for a mission trip by December or January. After recent flooding my friend's ministry needs a new computer (sold his to make repairs to church) and Bibles in the tilugu language.

I ask that you might pray for this effort.
God Bless you, Peter

Steve's Mom is home and doing well. I pray I have her fortitude when I'm 87 years old!
We were invited to a neighbor's for tea this week, but Mom put her off a few days until she went yesterday to have her hair and nails done! She's a trip, and pleasant to be around.

I started sharing Jesus with my 78 year old Uncle who just had triple by-pass heart surgery. Please pray for him, his name is Salvatore. Two of his 3 children don't speak to him for stupid reasons, and one of the ones who doesn't speak to him is a Born Again Christian. Yet I am somehow getting through to him. He wants to talk about Jesus everytime we talk on the phone and even though it's long distance. I love him to pieces, please pray for him. Thank you everyone.
