Do You Know God

Do you know God? I don't mean do you know of God, or do you know about God? What I wanna know is do you have an 'up-close' and personal relationship with God? Well, do you?

---frances008 our very best will never be good enough. God is in complete control. And we must lean heavily and totally upon him. Then will he say, "welcome home" well done.

I believe so. I try my best. But more and more I am coming to the conclusion that it is all up to God. He seems not to want to some people. Otherwise they would understand the lies from the truth. Perhaps those who love lies, God has already rejected. In the same way there may be many non-Christians who realize the truth.

Judgment day is coming, is what God said to me about an individual that I know. I have warned Him so many times. What more can I do? Just keep following Jesus.++ You think I do nothing. I have hurt pain so bad I took it out on God.

Ofcourse I do. Just about everyone on here acts as if they do.

God has been with every one of us from the moment he created us, at conception. He will never leave us. We are with him for eternity. God is lovingly guiding us to come closer to Him. Each of us is unique. No one is superior because they have 'found God first'. He loves us perfectly, each and every one of us. Yes, I know God, as best I can.

Sounds like you do Jackie.

Absolutely, knowing how to be abased and to abound, in all times and in everything to be instructed both to be full and to be hungry. I don't know Him like I want to or like I need to, but I do know Him.

I thank God that I do. How could one make it if they didn't have a close relationship with God? If one don't they better take a step back and figure out what went wrong.

Yes, I do know God personally but I want to get closer and closer to Him every single day! I want to know Him even more. I cant seem to know Him enough!

Jesus said in John 10:27 "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" I hear him load and clear!

Before I received His Holy Spirit,I knew OF God,about God,but when I received His spirit , my relationship with Him changed, God became and continues to be EVERYTHING to me..He is my lord, my saviour, my friend and He died for ME.. as Adam and Eve, I walk and talk with Him.. He is personal and very real.. to know of some one or to know someone is very different..I KNOW and LOVE my God..and I am known by Him.

I know that He knows me & that when He returns I will know Him even as I am known of Him. The love of God has been generously & graciously placed within me to manifest to all, by the power of that love I am able & willing to truly love my fellow man as I am loved. This I know, The Father is love and has empowered me to dwell in His love & to thereby abide in Him as He abides in me. There can be no closer or more personal relationship than that.

Your question is a confirmation for me personally. This is the third time this specific subject has come up today, in totally unrelated circumstances. I think God is speaking!!!!! I do know God but wish to know Him more.
---Christina on 9/28/06

I know Him, and I'm glad about it.
---lynet on 9/28/06

Jackie, here's the problem, do you really think that the bloggers who only know about God, but don't know him personally, will admit or even realise it? I'll say one thing though, it takes the Holy Spirit to come into a personal relationship and knowledge of God.
---Okebaram on 9/28/06

Jackie, I believe I do, but after listening to hours of Godly teachings by an anointed man of God, I realize how little I know God. When I asked Father for a word from Him, He gave me the scripture in John Chapter 16: "For the Father Himself loves you." We (God and I) have a close love relationship. I am my beloved's and He is mine. However, I realize there's much more intimacy to come as I fall in love with him every day of my life. The Joy of the Lord truly is my strength. Is it yours?
