Well for Pastor appreciation, my Wednesday night childrens church class, cooked and served a three course meal to the pastor and his wife. My brother is a chef, so he helped in a big way...but it was fun, the pastor and his wife had a good time and the kids had a blast doing it.

I'm requesting prayer for Judy, mentioned below. She was brought to hospice monday, cancer is throughout all her bones. She is no longer being fed through her feeding tube, and highly medicated. Looks like time is VERY short. Thank you

I just want to praise the Lord that the Truth of the Gospel was proclaimed at my brother's funeral.

Also, my daughter told me that I am finally going to be a grandmother in June. Praise the Lord for the new life and the new generation that is going to be born into my family.

1) Please pray for Judy. She had cancer of the esophogus years ago and has had many problems since then. She has been on a feeding tube and unable to speak for a few years, Almost 2 years ago she had a serious stroke which left her without use of her left side and is unable to walk, dress herself...she IS mentally alert much of the time. A few months ago she was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer.

2) This week she was brought from nursing home to hospital, has pneumonia, had a CAT scan which showed a major mass in the flesh of her back which is causing much pain. Judy was like a mother to me (mine died when I was 22, back in' 81). dy NEEDS Jesus. Please pray for her, for me while ministering to her. Thank you.

Madison1101 - I pray that the Lord Jesus will hold you tight and fill you with His peace. It is hard losing a sibling. Take comfort in knowing that you will see your brother again. Bless you and your family.

Thanks for the continued prayers. My mom and I are holding strong. My sister is struggling, she is taking it the hardest. The viewing is tonight and the funeral is tomorrow. Pray as family members from out of town travel during this time. Thanks again.

Madison, You are loved and in the prayers of many. "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows"

Just checking in to see how you're doing, Madison. Hope you, your mother and the rest of your family are finding comfort in your time of loss.

Madison, It is my hope & prayer that God supplies all the comfort & loving people of God to uphold and encourage you and your family at this time. And for your strength, as I know people look to those with a Christian counseling background for comfort, shelter, someone who understands to talk to. May God provide you with time to rest and be a recipient of His provision for all of you in this time of mourning. We all here know you are confident he is with Jesus. Know our thoughts & prayers are with you.

My brother, age 40, died suddenly Sunday afternoon. Please pray for my family, as my mother is taking it very hard. We are heartbroken. He was a believer, but we miss him so much.

Pierr, I am also so glad for you. Sometimes we get so rapped up that we forget about not seeing others on line for a while and don't think much of it. I hadn't seen you on line and now I know why. Blessings and joy for you and your family. Thanks for telling us about your results. Praise God in the Highest.

Praise God Pierre! I'm happy to hear that you are on the mend!
My husband and I are both survivors of the big 'C'. Its a scary feeling when you're told you have stage 4 cancer. I am elated that you didn't have to deal with that!
God gave us both peace and I have been cancer free for almost 10 years, and my husband for 3. To God be the glory!

Pierre: Praise the Lord for your news. That is wonderful. I am glad for your diagnosis.

I need prayer. My son is getting married in September 2007. The wedding will be in a suburb of St. Louis, MO. My entire family lives in PA. We are not financially well off, and my mom is saying she probably won't go to the wedding because she is on a fixed income. She has investments for her kids to inherit, but won't break them open to pay for the trip. I am hurt by this.

I am up again! Praise the Lord!
A few weeks ago, I was suffering from what felt like an obstruction of my gastro system.
The Dr. ordered a C-scan which turned up cyst on my pancreas. Next the Dr. ordered an Ultra Sound and Colonoscopy!
I was told that they wanted to know whether or not the cyst was CANCEROUS or not! Talk about a struggle to keep the faith!
Talk about sorting out majors and minors! Yesterday I had the tests and the results: NOT CANCEROUS! Wow! Thanks YOU JESUS! P.

Donna: Thank you so much for your encouragement. It feels good to fit into the next size down, and to see my waist getting thinner. Understand that I have a long way to go before I am actually "thin" but seeing the results is so great.

Yayyy, I just got my treadmill. The hardest workout I ever got was putting it together. Its a manual treadmill, so you really have to push to get it started, but hey I'm walking.

My mom is visiting this week. She came to town because my sister helped organize a Dinner Bingo for the Special Olympics. My nephew is an athlete with them. We had a great time that night.

I have lost 27 pounds so far, and my next goal is to lose a total of 40 by the week after Thanksgiving. Pray I am able to do so.

**She's very open, but I've found her falling asleep at her**

There may be medical or other issues going on here.

I did, too, until I was dxed with diabetes and got it under control.

I had an open position in my department. A close Christian friend of mine recommended someone and I hired her. I just found out she's a Jehovah Witness. I said, "thank you Father God, now I can take another one out of the wrong Kingdom." She's very open, but I've found her falling asleep at her

We are having Pastor's appreciation, it is November the 12th. after Sunday school. And we all agreed, if you don't come to Sunday school, you don't eat. Now if one is sick or a problem arose that is different. But if one stays home for no reason, don't come expecting to eat. We get tired of people just coming in when the preaching is over and eat then leave.
