The Lord said "in the last days, I will pour out my spirit" (Acts 2:17).

It's time!!

the INTRODUCTORY doctrine (Hebrews 6:1).
the "WORD OF TRUTH" (2 Timothy 2:15, Ephesians 1:13, John 14:6).
"SWORD OF THE SPIRIT" (Ephesians 6:17).
"WALK BY THE SPIRIT" (Galatians 5:16 and 25).

There are many things that the worldly church has never taught ("DEPTHS of God", 1 Corinthians 2:10). "better things" Hebrews 6:9.

Part-2 When out witnessing you hear many stories about churches. Situations like Mr. Haggerty's literally drives devout Christians out of the recognized churches. Also many people are finding that their pastor or their priest cannot answer their questions. Questions that as leaders they should have some idea of about. I find more Catholics today volunteering this information about their churches than ever before.

Part-3 So I do not believe that the true church will stay in the apostate church, because of the reasons I have stated. One other sign that I see is that everyone seems to know something is wrong with the denominational churches. But they have a great deal of difficulty understanding what is coming about, my only insight into this is what I see many Christian friends doing, which is getting away from longtime memberships in denominational churches. Just walking away.

**Back in those days, the woman always was granted custody of minor children - one reason I voted for the equal rights amendment.**

Actually, at first it was assumed that the FATHER, being the principal earner, should have custody. Granting the mother automatic custody is a newer practice.

Now the pendulum is swinging to joint custody.

laure5759 - in a legal divorce the welfare of the children must always be considered foremost and that parent that is the most capable and responsible need be given custody of minor children; regardless of what Mr. Dodson may think. Back in those days, the woman always was granted custody of minor children - one reason I voted for the equal rights amendment.

Lee - I think you do skip one word, however - "should". Obviously, in some cases, it is impossible. I know that Dr. Dobson would never say something is absolute. He knows reality, and he knows that things are never cut and dried.

Amen, Exzucuh! He who has ears to hear, let him hear, what the Spirit is saying CONTINUALLY! God Bless you brother!

laure5759 - *Please can someone explain to me why someone like James Dobson gets branded as a charlatan? ...*

I used to like Dodson until one day when I was listening to him on the radio he made the statement that in a divorce, children should always be granted to the mother. This was several decades again, but at that time, I had a wife that was under psychiatric care for bulimia, anorexia and drug abuse. My children would have been destroyed if I followed his advice.

Nine times Jesus warns us to watch lest he return in an hour we think not and find us in unrighteous behavior and cast us where there is weeping and nashing of teeth.
If there is wheat and tares in the church growing side by side, why do you suppose the righteousness of Christ does not save the tares from the fire?
---exzucuh on 11/11/06

God knows who and where his people are. He will bring us together.

1 Peter 4
4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Matthew 7
7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Please can someone explain to me why someone like James Dobson gets branded as a charlatan? He's the most genuine guy I know. Just because he perhaps does something slightly different to an individual does NOT mean that he is not led by God.

The True church is in Mat16;17-19:MK,8;27-30 &lk9;18-20:Matt28;18-20;Gods word any thing against is apostate. Its rather sad people find excuses to avoid this verse .I wonder why?

Please give me the specific examples as I am not as familiar with him. As much info as possible. Thanks!

Moderator, Norman Geisler was an example of a man that has leaven in his teachings.

The dark ages Church was far more heathen and apostate than the Church today. It was even illegal to own a Bible. They got through that so we'll get through this.
Christ is coming back for a beautiful bride. I believe that beauty is not because of Her good works but because of His righteousness imputed to Her by faith.
---john on 11/10/06

What does Norman Geisler do in the same vain that the others do? I didn't know that he fought cultural battles?

The true worshippers, those who worship in Spirit and in Truth will be able to withstand the Apostate Church. Those who's hearts are circumcised towards the Lord, they're the ones who won't compromise and will dwell in the secret place of the Most High God and abide under the shadow of the Almighty. God told Gideon he saved 300 for himself! How much more will he save you for himself?

#5 Why have they become naked, blind & poor? Because there has been a transfer of responsibility. People go to a worthless building on Sunday, pay their tithes & think they have done their christian duty. What else do they need to do? They have been fed by the pastor and they paid their money to support someone else in the mission field, not realizing the mission field is outside their door. Christians are light everywhere we go; to the bank, grocery store, resteraunt, work, anywhere!!
---Ryan on 11/9/06

#6 Men like D. James Kennedy, Norman Geisler, Jay Sekulow, James Dobson & many other charlatans are absolutely despicable. These men are the epitome of transfer of responsibilbity they are convinced that they are doing the work of the Lord by suing, condemning, judging, fighting and battling the culture.

#7 Church buildings should be open 24 hours a day and ran by volunteers. They sould be places where people meet to eat every morning, noon & night. The church buildings should be community centers for everyone to meet at frequently, discuss scripture, edify one another, to pray and to get questions answered.

#8 They should be a place to meet people and build relationships. They should have Elders and pastors focused on shepherding the flock and discipleship; feeding the hungry, giving medical care to the sick, giving aid to the poor, counseling and supporting the widow and providing a haven for the orphaned. Christianity is not ceremonial it is individual.
---Ryan on 11/9/06

#1 mima, my friend, I like what you have to say. I will put in my own two cents as well. TRANSFER OF RESPINSIBILITY, remember this term. Transfer of responsibility is at the core of the insidious nature of the denominations.
---Ryan on 11/9/06

#2 The lecture format once or twice a week is pathetic, how does one become discipled by just sitting and listening to what someone else studied, there must be discussion and questions...oh...dare I say it...ENGAGEMENT...ahhhhh!!!
---Ryan on 11/9/06

#3 The people have transferd their responsibility to study, to the pastor, they pay him to study so he can ansewer their questions & feed them their sermons that way they can have free time to watch T.V. Wow! How clever is Satan? This is a brilliant strategy, keep people out of heaven by convincing them they don't have to study they can pay someone else to do it.

#4 90% of these men in pulpits today could not go toe-to-toe, pound-for-pound, scripture-for-scripture with a Spirit-filled, Spirit-led, well-studied Christian. Many of these small groups that meet and honestly discusss scripture will be prophets, in the days to come. People have become complacent they think they can see, but they are blind; they think they are rich, but they are poor; they think they are clothed, but they are naked.

With the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, and the divine Blood of Jesus, Our 3 greatest weapons in regard to recognizing and uncovering the devil's deceit.(Ephesians 5:13)(Matt.10:26). First the falling away(this is happening now), then the rapture, then that "man of sin" will reveal himself(2 Thessalonians 2:3-17). God Bless!
---Mrs._Morgan on 11/9/06

Part 1- The "church"(the called out ones) will slowly(we are seeing the beginning of this happening at this time) come out of the denominational churches. This will go largely unnoticed because of the big mega churches that are in existence now with more coming. More people are willing to pray with you publicly today than ever before. At least in the last 35 years.
