Before my father died, I could not bear the thought of him not being around. I would get very upset.

When he died, I had an incredible peace that can only come from God. I KNOW that he is in a better place. I KNOW that I will one day see him again. I KNOW that death is not the end, but the beginning. It is not the end, but a temporary separation until I join alongside him, with Jesus, in the world to come.

I pray that your wife may have this knowledge that can only come from God.

Ryan we shall certainly pray for comfort, strength and peace for you and your entire family that can only come from the Lord.
Just for now we see through a dark glass but later we shall behold the "Big" picture.
It will be worth it all, when we see Jesus.

Lord, touch this family and comfort them, especially during the upcoming holidays. Mend their broken hearts and hold them in your arms.

Ryan, I pray that the God of all comfort, will indeed comfort your wife in this time of grieving for her dad. Lord fill this woman with your peace that she may endure this loss. Hug her Lord, blanket her with your peace that surpasses all human understanding. In Jesus name I pray. I will continue to pray for her Ryan, death is a stinger and it stings hard.
