Donna, here's another blog that might help answer your question about entering the Holy of Holies.
If someone denies Jesus Christ, they're never making it through the Holy of Holies.
Those that refuse the Holy Spirit to be equal with Father and Son are not making it into the Holy of Holies.

We are able to enter into the Holy of Holies and come before the Mercy Seat by the shed blood of Christ.
Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh,

The Holy of Holies in the Old Testeament Tabernacle was a shadow of things to come.

Donna, 2

In the Old Testament, only the High Priest could enter in, and only once a year, and not without blood (Heb. 9:7).

We now have a new High Priest, Jesus Christ. It was only required that he enter in once, having obtained eternal redemption for the family of God (Heb. 9:12).

Christ is now in the true Holy of Holies to appear in the presence of God for us (Heb. 9:25).

Heb 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
(This means Christ is touched by our infirmities, he can sympathize with us because he was tested like we are, yet did not sin.)

Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Here the Apostle Paul tells us that we can go straight to God in prayer and find help. We don't need to go through a Priest.

Hope this helps. Lord bless you.

By being the regnant High Priest (cohen ha-godol) and making sure the Temple in Jerusalem is built.

donna9759: Take them to Romans 5-8. We enter a new and different way, through the veil, that is to say His flesh..Hebrews 10. This is Romans 6. Galatians 2:20. Colossians 2 and so much more. When we are crucified with Christ, and raised up with Him, we IN CHRIST enter into the Holy of Holies, to our Father Himself.

1--If you belive that the old law was a forshadow of the new covenant we have in christ, look what took place in the Holy of holies. That was where intercestion for sin took place, man (priest on behalf of men) could meet with God. when the priest entered he was without sin. Today this is a place that we can go to when we desire to be with God, When we want that closeness with God that nothing stands between you and him. Like when you fast and your flesh is weak and the spirt in you is strong.

Statan can hit you with temptation but there really is no temptation because your desire for the things of God are stronger than anything this world has to offer.
We do go in and out of the place just as the preist did. I believe it is a place we should strive to be in all the time.Going in a out of this place don't make us not saved its a place of God spiritual protection where we can hear him more clearly, better follow his judgements for our lives.

I don't know how the Priest of the temple ages of Jewish worship got into the holy of Holies. I haven't really thought of it. But they probably went on the side since it was one piece of cloth. But I'm not an expert in ancient Jewish worship traditions.

When the veil was ripped in two the Holy of Holies was made available to us all. This veil is still in place to those who choose to live by the law. Behind the veil is the spiritual life that we all can live in.

Only by the blood of the Lamb of God. Just as the priests, according to the line of Aaron, were required to enter only once a year with a blood sacrafice. Our priest has entered the holy of holies through the shedding of His own blood. !!!!OH HOW GLORIOUS AND RIGHTEOUS IS THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS EXALTED AND BLESSED ABOVE ALL MEN!!!!
