Your Job In Heaven
The kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We'll find out in due time.
It probably won't be what any of us are expecting.

Hi y'all :) This may sound totally lame, but I would LOVE to be Heaven's dog caretaker! :) For my job to be entertaining countless dogs for eternity! :D It would take me an eternity to show dogs how much I care for them anyway! :)

I hope my job is just to REST! To worship God and to be free of pain, sorrow and be happy at last. And I hope my job has something to do with music.

All who go to Heaven will have a job of WORSHIP to God. If you cannot, or don't like to worship here on Earth, how do you think you will do it in Heaven, since that will be our one and only job there?

Hey one thing
Some of you guys keep saying i will love to just stand in the presence of God
WHy dont we do that now IN THE PRESENT
Jesus said pray like this
"my kingdom come,[and] my will be done, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN..."
So if there is awesome presence in heaven than there also can be on earth, and if there is no sickness, disease, etc... in heaven then there can also be none of that on earth

"I like to build. So it will be great if I can build things in a workshop to give to people." --One of my brother's always talks about that he hopes he can have all his math books, computer books, computer, etc. he is like an Einstein to me, very intelligent, theoretical person, I never put too much thought into it, other than worshipping God, and meeting up with friends and family, Who knows down here what it will be like up there in FULL detail,But it will be wonderful! God Bless!

I know in my heart that I will be going through intense MENTAL and physical training. God's grace saved me here on earth and tells me to start now.(and its not easy at first but oh so simple). I'll be sent to the depths of hell to help save and destroy demons. I love my calling. Hope i get my wings and a nice robe to keep me warm. =) WHOA IMA BE SUPERMAN!

I like to build. So it will be great if I can build things in a workshop to give to people. But whatever I do in heaven, I know the greatest feeling of all will be just to stand in the presence of Almighty God.

I don't know what I'll be doing in heaven. but one things for sure I won't be doing. And that is riding around on a cloud playing a harp, and crying, weeping.

I will be worshipping and praising the Lord forever. On a carnal note, I would love a big piano in Heaven, and learn how to play it!

I think I'll be a dispenser of royal crowns, maybe a pavement worker since those crowns are layed at the feet of Christ (and the streets are gold you know) I'll do anything as long as it's not singing I really don't like to sing. but then again In a heavenly body maybe I could carry a tune so I guess I'd do that too.
---Jared on 12/12/06|
And when I'm not working or maybe even while I'm working I think I'll just worship God. Which i'm pretty sure will be the first thing on everyone's list.

greetings. We will experience much frequent flier miles. There will be a great welcoming upon the sea of glass at resurection. We will engage an enormous multitude of educators. We will experience a unnumberable legion of new friends and family and be welcomed into our Father's house with true love of as we have never experienced before. We will discover just how primitive we really are and how great and spiritual our Father's creation really is.Our duty remains but our burden is light.

I love books, so I hope I will be the librarian or at least a helper! If there is a library there I could see myself reading all the great works from the past and maybe who knows writers who die still write up there!
