That He ever lives to make intercession for me, for us.

Jesus Christ is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him.

I've noticed that there are some bloggers unable to say or write the Name of Jesus Christ. I've wondered about that. Jesus is our High Priest, forever.

Well, that is fairly simple, when He was born. Conceived by the person of the holy spitit.

The woman at the well. I especially love all the scriptures regarding women as it is uplifting and encouraging to women ministers. No matter what your past is, God will always use you to spread the Gospel as did the woman at the well.

It's hard to pick. I love them all. My favorites seem to change as time goes on.

One of my favorites is where Christ was speaking to Peter and said,"...Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven."
This shows me that knowing Christ doesn't come from man.

Another of my favorites is where Christ said,"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:.."

That's good!

When he looked down into my eyes.

His birth. No birth,no salvation,no forgiveness of sins.

The healing ministry of Jesus. They brought to Him, all that were sick, and begged that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.

We should not have any favourites...we should love allllll of Jesus cant love part of Him and leave the rest...

I was most grateful when, as Grace said, Jesus prayed for the disciples and believers to come. The Jews didn't accept other nationalities and did not accept Christians at first. Jesus set the way for us to hear about Him and be accepted ever so long ago.

Hi y'all; I too love the story sooo much of the Transfiguration; gives me goosebumps! One Sunday long ago, I knew my minister would be preaching on it, and I determined, come hell or high water, I was gonna be there and get blessed--and I sure was! :)

I'm kinda new at studying the Bible, but there is a part that Jesus says that when you love/help a stranger you may be loving/helping him.

My husband said his favorite thing is that He has long hair and a beard.? (husband has long hair and a beard too)

When Jesus said to the woman at the well,"Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water." This says to me that if you know who Jesus is(GOD'S gift) a person can ask him to save them and He will.

Can you imagine the courage it took to tell off the pharisees' and saducees'. He called them snakes, vipers, whited walls, of their father the devil, -wow, he let them have it.

I think when Jesus prayed for his apostles and all the believers who would follow. Which means at that moment he was praying for you and me.

I especially love that Jesus said, "Not my will, but Thine," in the Garden. He knew every single bit of the horror which awaited Him at the Cross. But, He went!

My favorite moment (and remember God desires truth in the innermost is when Jesus let the Pharisees have it. Why? Because when I run into a person full of pride, I think of the terms Jesus used when he let them have it, lock, stock and barrell, not that I use them, but I just smile and say, "do you know what a whitewashed tomb is?" LOL Actually my ALL-TIME favorite is the story of the Woman at the Well or rather Jesus at the well, why? Because God was there first.

I always try to imagine the scene when he asked the Pharisees to stone the adulterous woman if they had no sin. How he proceeded to write on the ground.I ve tried to think what he was writing. But it must been so amusing to see the accusers disappear one by one....

When he asked Peter; "lovest thou me?" One of the greatest moments of grace recorded IMO.
---Pharisee on 12/15/06

Personally, I've always found the transfiguration one of the most 'jaw-dropping' moments in the Gospels. Just think about what the disciples got to witness? Wow. Besides the more complicated teachings associated w/ this scripture, I would say it's also really motivating how Moses and Elijah were such real friends of God that out of all the humans ever to have existed, Christ felt the need to talk to them. PTL!

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
