Does The Blood Of Christ Heal

A friend of mine is actively pleading the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over people who are sick. The last five people he has prayed for have been healed. Two of those people had terminal illnesses; less than three weeks to live. Let's have your comments.

Besides the name Jesus there is nothing more powerfuul than Jesus' Blood. You can alo plead His Blood over stuff. You know like your home, pets, ect.

Jesus was a healer. The Blood of Jesus is the Kingdom to come. New Jerusalem is Jesus' kingdom here on this world. But if his kingdom fails then those that are saved will be taken to a new heaven and earth. Jesus can't be a King and a Judge. The holy blood of Jesus will be poured out. This is the Lord's wedding. Those that hear about it will be grafted into Jesus family.

Tell your friend that all he has to do in he future is place the blood on the people. The blood is always available so you do not have to plead for it or plead for its power to perform. So to answer Jesus' blood never looses its power! So until Jesus cracks the sky there is redemptive, recovery through the blood of Jesus Christ. I have a slew of testmonies in my pocket.

Lee, I do not know what it is you are sick of, but why are you not pleading your case to God yourself? What makes you think that God will not cure you and needs someone else to come and annoint you in order for you to get healed? I understand that many brothers and sisters pray for each other because of the burden in their hearts. God loves when His children speak to Him. But God hears the prayers also of the one sick. If your faith is in Christ, God already knows. For He say's, "ask anything." He means you. If you think people have the power while God doesn't, then your dependence is not on God for your life.

Can you please get in touch with me, I am need of prayer for a physical ailment in a big way. I am very desperate and need the help of someone with a strong anointing. Thank you and God bless.

In Matthew Chapter 8:16 and 17, Matthew writes that he healed all the sick that came to Him. This was done by Jesus in order to fulfill that which was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: "He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases."

I do not understand why as evangelicals, we failed to see the truth of this passage. Jesus carried not only our sins on the cross, but our sickness and diseases also. By his wounds you have been healed and this was done two thousands ago. I will pray that the Lord will open our eyes to this passage.

You sound surprised? God's in the healing ministry and if your a Christian so are you. I've seen cancer, tumors, livers healed and beautiful young believing Christians die while they stood on the word for their healing. God's ways are not our ways, but you pray believing HE CAN DO THIS!!!! HE IS ABLE, not I Him. Not your friend, it's Jesus.

Pleading the Blood is confession to the Covenant made by that Blood, Isaiah 53 is the
the new covenant prophesy Romans 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? We are to obey the Gospel and believe and with mustard seed faith, Speak to the mountain, lay hands, anoint with oil, call elders, Just do your part and God will do his.

The reason I posted this question was because all this is very astounding. The friend mentioned is a person of very strong faith. I Understand pentecoastal people pleading the blood of Jesus, this man is far from being pentecostal. And I was wanting other people's opinion.

MIMA::There are many healings by Jesus in His lifetime But every case He said "GO your Faith has made you whole"or "go your sin has been forgiven You"Even the woman with a blood disorder. So it would be by His Powerthat cures are done Not by blood & the supposition of blood.
---Emcee on 7/26/07

I found this blog because I was looking for what Felix said. Where does it say in the Bible that we are healed by the blood of Jesus? I'm looking for that answer.

I read all the blog here, and I must say, to die is not healing. If you die, you didn't get healed, you died from your sickness!! To be healed is to still be here on earth alive and well.

God bless you all.
---Ruth on 7/26/07

yes,i do believe the blood of the devine one will heal

It is the WORK OF JESUS, i.e. Atonement, taken in its entirety, not his body parts that accomplishes things that benefit mankind.

Because of the Atonement, we have redemption, salvation, security and healing. It is the Atonement that paid the price for our sins, the just dying for the unjust, and the resurrection is proof of full satisfaction for the cost of sin.

Mima's friend is theologically incorrect. Otherwise we could talk about his holy fingernail clippings.
---John_T on 12/29/06

Rickey- Excellent answer!!!
---craige on 12/28/06

Our faith should be in God, His word, & the finished works of Jesus. Our redemption is a finished work of Jesus. We have our redemption through His blood(Ephesians 1:7). We have been redeemed from the curse of the law; eternal damnation; sickness, poverty, & spiritual death. It's upto us to lay hold on the promises of God through our faith in the finished works of Jesus.
---Rickey on 12/27/06

Rickey- You never mentioned "the blood" in your statements, which is what the question was dealing with. Just curious about something. You constantly spoke of "our faith", but didnt mention what was to be the object of "our faith". What do you thimk that our faith is supposed to be in? Just curious.

Rickey. God bless your great faith. And these are the signs that will follow them that believe. You believe and I know these great signs God promises will follow you and all of us who will believe.
---john on 12/25/06

I feel where you're you're coming from, but according to scripture Paul's thorn in the flesh was persecution. Salvation is a free-gift that you don't have to fight to get, but the promises of God, including healing, requires your faith and willingness to fight the good fight of faith to get healed. It is God's will for all to be healed according to scripture.(Psalms 103:3; 1Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:5)
---Rickey on 12/24/06

God can't heal whenever "HE" wants to. If He could no one would be sick. God showed that it requires our faith. Many examples were given in Jesus' ministry. His promise for healing is our's now, but it requires our faith to obtain it.(Hebrews 11:6) "His will be done"; His will is His word.(Jeremiah 1:12; Isaiah 55:11) In His word it promises healing. So it's His will for all to be healed.
---Rickey on 12/24/06

We can't go around wondering if God is going to heal us. We must expect it. Hebrews 11:1 shows that. The word "hope" means "joyful, confident expectation"; not"I sure hope, wish". If a person is wishing they won't get it. Jesus is requiring us to come up to a new level in faith & have the tenacity to stand on the word.

Our healing reqires "our" faith, the renewing of "our" mind, "us" standing on the word.(Joshua 1:8) The word "meditate" means to think on and speak. We must renew our mind with God's word & speak what the word says instead of continually holding on to sickness, lack, or poverty by magnifying it with the words of our mouth. You are either justified or condemned by your words Either sick, broke, & lacking or healed, prospering, & having more than enough by our words.
---Rickey on 12/24/06

Yes the Holy Spirit can heal us when we place our faith in the fact that Christ shed his blood and paid the price for us to be healed. Pleading the blood simply maens you are crying out to God to bring healing that Christs blood paid for. But, we must remember that its the Holy Spirit who does the healing through faith. Faith in what- In the fact that Christ has already paid the price for it. My oldest daughter was healed of a severe limp when she walked. All Jesus- no doctors. GLORY TO GOD!
---craige on 12/24/06

Excellent post, tommy.
---augusta on 12/23/06

Thank's Tommy. It is the will of God that is done and He always has the right reason for it. If we could see through His eyes, we would see an awesome task of ruling the heavens and earth. His purpose will stand, for it is always righteous, whether we think so or not. I am glad to see your name again on line, don't be a stranger. We all need you brother. Bruce is correct. We should be pleading the salvation of the lost, instead of more for us. What else is more important then the souls of the Lost?

2. We are already saved, and should be asking for God's will in our lives. Because He is our King and knows best what we need for our lives. Who really knows what is right for each of us? We think we do, but come very short of what God's plan is for our future. That is why we have faith, to believe that only He knows what is best.
---lisa on 12/23/06

Mima, While I believe that God is still in the "healing" business, we need to accept that He heals when and how He pleases. He doesn't always remove the affliction, and sometimes He heals by taking a person home to be with Him. You know that the Apostle Paul prayed 3 times for healing from his infirmity, but, the Lord said "NO." We have to trust in His wisdom, and pray "Thy will be done."
---tommy3007 on 12/23/06

Mima, Glory to God!!! As Bruce said, the blood is not a magic formula but does bring us to God, and it is God that heals.
Ephesians 2:13
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.

Hebrews 10:19
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,
---christina on 12/23/06

Bruce is essentially Right, God's power is not released by some magic formula, but according to our faith and his will.

Jesus himself said so, but I don't have any problem with pleading by the blood of the Lord. I am just stating that you don't need to as some suppose.

All the five people have been healed. Two of them were told that they would be dead within two weeks. One had been on dialysis machine three times a day but machine was not doing any good. So the doctors took her off the machine and told she had 1-2 weeks to live. The other terminal case was cancer of the bladder, she was passing much blood, blood stopped as soon as he prayed. Now doctors say they cannot find anything wrong. Continued

One of those who got healed is my son. 44 years old with a growth behind his left eye. While not cancerous it caused eye to bulge out and was very grotesque to look at. His eye has been bad for eight years. Friend prayed for him. Next morning eye had receded back into socket. Doctors absolutely astounded. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised!!!!!!
---Mima on 12/22/06

Bruce is right on. There is no magic formula. If it is working go for it. I've had sucess like that in various ways but just when I thought I had God all figured out He worked a different way. He even used shadows and hankies didn't He? I say if God is responding then get as much done as you can while it's working.

Whether you "plead the blood" or "take authority in the name of Jesus" or say as Peter did "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." Acts 3:6, or simply say "Please Jesus heal this person", "the prayer of faith shall save the sick" James 5:15

There is no magic formula. Look at the prayer of Matthew 9:27, 15:22, 20:30 'Son of David have mercy on me/us" or the prayer of the woman with the issue of blood. All she did is touch his garment and was healed. No words spoken at all.
---Bruce5656 on 12/22/06

What on earth does s "pleading the blood of Jesus Christ" mean?
It must be some special religious buzz-phrase, because in ordinary English, it is an incomprensible phrase.
So can we have a translation please

Brother Mima, With His(JESUS') stripes we are healed. God Bless!

(II.) Mima, Some doubt that power in the precious Blood of Jesus. Thank you for your wonderful testimonies, you are a blessing to the Lord's Kingdom indeed! I too and other's have witnessed what the power in the Blood of Jesus can do! All of God's power is connected, we must be subject only to "higher powers", God's that is(Romans 13:1,2). God Bless!
