Where is the help, the support for the wives of the fallen pastors? As a pastor's wife, I have encountered, yet another situation where the pastor has fallen to adultry.

We had this happen in a congregation we once attended. The district overseer in that area invited the pastor's wife to be a part of his congregation so that she would not have to face the prying eyes of her old congregation. That pastor and his wonderful wife allowed the hurt pastor's wife to continue her spiritual ministries in their congregation as well as helping her in the healing process.

Have you addressed the issue of deliverance from demons? I know it may sound strange, but Ted Haggard had a problem with being demon possessed. That is why he ended up falling from grace and doing the things he did. If these pastors are committing adultry, it may be a problem with demon possession. Yes Christians can become demon possessed too - sin opens the door for Satan to take control.

In my not so humble opinion, if a man TRULY loves his wife, he can't fall for other women. Not sure if the devil gave me a break but I don't feel such temptations because I love my wife dearly and to me she's the most beautiful and attractive woman on earth.

I hope she'll read this so she'll do the dishes more often!!!

The wives of pastors should be very conscious of the sexual needs & weaknesses of their husbands admonishing him to be always cautious when around other woman.

My pastors wife claims that she often takes the initiative in sexual relations.

As for support for wives whose husband have fell off the wagon, all you really can have is faithful Christian friends.

I have no doubt that demons exist. I have seen hundres having ministered for many years in Las Vegas. However, when a Christian choses to stop abiding in Christ and turns away back to sin, he is no longer in Christ and is no longer a Christian. That's the difference.

Satan can MOST DEFINATLY invade a CHRISTIAN -Don't be decieved. I have seen many Christians who have had demons cast out of them!!!! Sin is what opens the door to Satan & his demons, and even as a Christian, you can still sin, and therefore become demon possessed. Even your family could have done a sin that put a curse on you, so demons could invade you as a believer. Read Larson's Book Of Spiritual Warfare by Bob Larson, to understand better.

(1.)"Stop blaming people's sins on demons. It is pure selfishness and nothing more. People want what they want and they want it now! That's the problem. The blame is on the individual who "choses" to commit the sins!!!" ---The blame game started in Eden, and has been going on ever since the fall of man, Many Christians nowadays in this powerful Holy Ghost Dispensation of God's Grace and Overcoming Power from on High, want to put all the blame on the "sin-nature",

(2.) they create doctrines excusing themselves for their disobedience/rebellion. Jesus said sin will have no dominion over those who "abide in" Him,and be ye Perfect. Demon possession is a REAL problem in the Church today, Because of complacency to God's Word(the Discipline of the Holy Spirit is ignored by most).God says choose THIS DAY whom you will serve,There is NO middle ground, Those who believe there is, are the ones who will either become demon possessed or seduced. God Bless!

Leslie::Undoubtedly satan is the culprit but who allowed him in "free will". Right! your answer is a complete cop out, which offenders seek by way of an explaination, like monoply a free ticket out of Jail!!But this is real Life, where hearts are broken.

If you see a need for help, fill it.

I trust that you will be doing everything in your power to help this family in any way that you can. I have also observed that not only is it pastors that have fallen in this manner but just as often it is the wife that falls into adultery. In both cases all need help.

Anisa:Sorry & distressed at your delima. It is not your problem; but you surely are the residue of the sorrow incurred.Adultery is a famous pill that satan dispenses but it is BUT FINAL & will need yo get your sanity & life back together. Again you can gain security, inner sanctity In chastity. Its a cross but it is also a reward being handed to you for acceptance.God bless you as you continue your walk lonely But rewarding.

One name...GOD. he is your help, our only help. Take it to God, instead of talking about what so and so did. God knows all and God see's all. This woman needs to seek God for guideance and strength.

Leslie. I totally disagree that believers can be demon possessed. The Holy Spirit indwells believers, and scriptures says "Greater is He that is in me, then he that is in the world." This means that the Holy Spirit is greater than the devil, who is NOT in me, or any other believer.

For the Pastor's wife, you might want to seek counseling or therapy for your situation. Adultery causes deep wounds, and being in ministry creates a stress in addition to the adultery.
