Of course the Church is the House of God. But you must beware of false teachers and those that are wolves in sheeps clothing. In Rev. there are two churches in Asia that are the church of satan. So Satan has churches so be careful and study the church that you go to.

No, because some buildings are whited tombs full of dead mans bones, and are the synagoges of Satan, and have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof.

jesus is God and God is everywhere all the time.but the church on earth is the bride of jesus, and ambassadors to non believers.we are the workers in the fields,we are the temple in which God resides. a building to me is a meeting place of fellowship were the holy spirit may be present.

Almost everywhere in the Bible the Church is the people. That's why we see the Church in someones house or in the city. There is a reference to the building as the Church in 1Tim3:15 where it says people ought to know how to behave themselves in the house of God which is the Church of God. I have no problem with the building being referred to as the house of God as long as the people know they are what God resides in.

"Where two or more are gathered, so shall there be I."

The Church (Body of Christ) is just people who stand for God. Places of worship are referred to as the House of God, but some churches don't live like a Christ-like follower.

Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

God does not dwell in buildings made by human hands. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. No building made by human hands can claim to be the 'house of God'.

The Church is the body of Christ. If you reside in Christ, you are always in church. The building or where ever you worship God, can be sanctified and made Holy unto the Lord; but that is not where God dwells. For the Holy Spirit now dwells in the hearts of men.
