You are distracted by something that is causing you not experience the totality of God's companionship and presence in your life.It is usually when we are dis-content and have a covetous condition that we feel lonely. When we are serving God we are fulfilled.Find out what it is that you are distracted by and then pray and release it to God.

Have you invited some people to dinner. Or offered to volunteer at a hospital. When I'm lonely I look at my own choices and they are usually that I didn't want to invest the effort in others so I reap what I sow. I don't know your situation, I'm just observing my own - sometimes.

With God, there is no loneliness.

You probably have too many activities going on. Many Christians fill up practically every minute of every day with church activities, sermons, entertainment, Christian tapes, radio, books, work, play, etc, that they cannot hear the whispers of God. This is why it's important to observe the Sabbath, to have friendship with God, to talk to God and to allow him to answer your concerns.

Whem alone by myself I intentionally meditate on the Lord Jesus and what he has done for me and the whole world. I like to praise him that I can open and closed my hands, I actually saw the time when I could not open or closed my hands. I like to be alone in order to praise him, openly, completely, vocally, and totally. May I take this opportunity to say thank you Jesus. Thank you.

brene, have you gotten to know Jesus as your Husband and God as your Father? Have you spent time worshipping Father God and come into His presence with singing? Get to know Jesus and Father God and the Holy Spirit, they will be your three best friends in life. Talk to them like you would your friend. Tell God you're lonely. Let Him give you what He believes you need pertaining to life and godliness.

If Jesus, Has never payed you a visit and convicted you, That you are lost and headed for Hell, And saved you, then you are a Wicked man or woman. Check it out. What, it really means to be Born-Again. Not everyone who says Lord, Lord, Oh Lord, will enter into the Kingdom Of GOD.

I'm a sold-out Christian for God. I try to make God #1 in my life, and make Him my everything. I try to give God all my heart daily.

WE all have bouts of lonliness, if you belong to God. I was never lonly when I was lost. Sometimes, when you find yourself really serving God in so many ways, you will have bouts of lonliness. Those are times, You need to snuggle up to Jesus, and before you know it, your lonliness is gone.TRY IT.

be happy of the gifts God gives you, & make sure you are doing these activities for God & not just for the people. I know I am doing Gods will spiritually when spiritually I am satisfied & donot question where to go next, he will guide me. As for lonliness turn to Jesus in prayer, maybe you need a christian friend to help support you, like a best friend.

Brene: God knows the desires of your heart. You need to have patience for things to happen. Sarah didn't have a child until she was 100 years old. Meanwhile, become active with feeding, clothing, quenching the thirst of the poor and needy. You just might find your heart's desire also helping the poor and needy (having something in common).

This is a fequently lament on these blogs. It comes up every so often.

But along with it are woes from people who are suffering in dysfunctional marriages or other relationships.

Having someone special in your life will NOT necessarily make your life better.

God doesn't let us suffer. God allowed us to make a choice - suffering comes from our own actions. So you ask what about cancer - God hurts when things are not well with us. He crys with us. He also laugh with us and have joy when we are happy. God loves us.

Loneliness is one type of suffering. As you put it so well, suffering comes from our own actions. Listen to the Spirit speaking within yourself!
God made Eve because man should not be ALONE not because man was LONELY! Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Tell God all about how you feel and then trust Him to meet your needs. You already know you can trust God so leave it up to Him. He will bring the right one for you.
