You can brighten your day by buying yourself a box of candy, flowers to brighten the house, and get yourself a card that says you are special. Then set down and write God a card or poem,or just your thoughts on how wonderful he is and how thankful you are for all he has done for you. Be glad in the Lord and that will brighten anyone's day for it's about love and there's none greater than God's for you. God Bless, Happy Valentine's Day in Jesus Name.

Go to singles celebration at your church or line up a date before Valentine's Day.Or buy yourself chocolates or some other gift and celebrate at home with a good movie and just enjoy yourself. Don't get so caught up in the day either. Its just another day.You will survive.

Friend I have given suggestions on what to possibly do for Valentine's day. Let me give a word to you on WHAT NOT TO DO!
Don't bother somebody elses's Valentine. OK. Find your own. Doing this could be dangerous to all concerned..

I tell people when they ask me and only when they ask me, "Do you have a husband." I say yes, and I have a Father who adores me. The bible says, For your husband is your maker, the Lord of hosts is His name." God said in Jeremiah, "I will betroth you to me." "I will marry you to me." Get to know both of them very intimately and you won't be disappointed.

Valentine's day is not in the Bible. Like Christmas, 4th of July, st patrick, saint etc etc there are more "saints" than days of the year, But there is only one SAINT and that is Jesus, Son of God, who didn't command you to celebrate valentine's day. Don't believe me? read your Bible cover to cover.

When I was single, Valentine's was never a sad day for me becuase it was another day God made in which to rejoice! I'd give my students little tokens, treat my daughter and my family to treats and celebrate love in all other forms--not just eros--where we try to limit it. I enjoyed my single self and did not wallow in it as something not right. My husband and I have just had our first together and now it has changd again--but no matter what state one finds oneself it can be another good day in the Lord!

So Paua, what did you end up doing on Valentine's day? I pray you made the most of it by giving of yourself to others. GBY

Beneath the tide the fishes glide
Fin to fin and side to side
For fishy love has now begun
Fishy love, finny fun
Paper moon, paper heart
Pink balloon, work of art
Al Capone, Bugs Moran
Day to repay the one that you love
Gentlemen take off your hats as I speak thereof
Just a brief break from the push and the shove
We may go a few rounds without boxing gloves

Land your punch, I stand my ground
We break for lunch and a second round
We set them up, we knock them down
Me and you, you and him
Him and her, us and them
We keep score, love as war
I lost my teeth, I lost my hair
I lost my mind, you don't care
Love is war, all is fair
On Valentine's Day

I love Valentines day, and even though I'm not married or dating, I am happy for those who are. I call/send cards to relatives and friends. I just have a good day.
I trust the Lord, that one day I will have a mate to celebrate thse days set aside for lovers:)

Make God your boyfriend/girlfriend. Make Him your Valentine, and give your heart to Him.

I'm kinda glad I don't have a significant other; sure it's nice but I would rather be lonely than abused any day, given the choice! :) I like the suggestion for the nursing home--cool! :) God bless y'all, single and even married! :D

I don't have a girlfriend so I spend it with my wife.
I don't really celebrate the day, but I go along with the goofy romantic stuff for someone who does.

Do something nice for your friends or other relatives such as mom, dad, grandma. Or take yourself out, buy yourself something nice. Do something nice for someone else. It will make you feel so-o-o good and God will bless you for thinking of someone else.

Eat junk food and watch a ballgame or movie! My son makes it a point not to have a g/f on holidays so he doesn't have to buy gifts! Cheap rascal!
Dear its even worse if you have someone and they 'forget' special days!

Send a single senior flowers to brighten their day.
Buy yourself a box of chocolates. Make a pot of cowboy coffee. Eat as many as you want. The sugar overload will help you clean the house. Valentine's Day will be over before you know it.

You could buy a bunch of artificial roses and go to your neighborhood nursing home and give them out to the residents. Many of them don't have anyone who visits them at all. It wouldn't cost you much. Call the home ahead of time and find out how many you need and make arrangements to go there at a particular time. Don't forget the men also.
