There was some gifted people in the Old Testament such as Joseph and Daniel.
There is not such a gift recorded among the spiritual gifts in the New Testament even a gift such as word of knowledge is slightly in the same rank.
Be cautious to interpret dreams, because not all dreams have significance. Not sure the Holy spirit will always ministering to you in that way.

That would be correct, Susie.
But when I'm not walking in the Love of Christ, I'm moved to use other names to get my point across. Please pray for me. I do need help in this area. But I love you, too, Susie. Smooches once again, everyone.

"We interpret the dreams by listening to What God tells us about the dream."

Then God is the one doing the interpreting as HE is the one telling us what they mean.
---Susie on 3/6/07

In book of Daniel he was given visions and dreams and was also able to interpret them. Daniel 1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

I daydream alot, when I'm not snoring and taking a big snooze.
---Dave on 3/5/07

God isn't the one who interprets dreams, He's the one who gives us dreams...He has no need to interpret what He Himself created. We interpret the dreams by listening to What God tells us about the dream.

I have had many unexplained dreams through my years of being christian, and I still have dreams. Not once did I fast before or after the dreams them. When I have a dream that I am not sure of the meaning I do ask God, and when the time comes for me to know He will show me what He wants me to know...mary4964

jana....God gives the interpretation to me. There are many instances of God giving the interpretation of dreams in the Bible.
---Susie on 3/5/07

sue...I also have dreams about saving the baby. The Lord has shown me that the baby is the "church" and the polluted water is the false doctrine within churches today. God is calling people to save the "church" from those false doctrines.
---Susie on 3/5/07

Not too long ago I had a "troubled water" dream in which I had two roads I could take. One was the "low road" and went downhill. The other was the "high road" and was very narrow and looked rough, but eventually led up out of the water. I awoke immediately and knew that the Lord was telling me to take the "high road" as I face life's challenges.

We, as God's people need to know what is of God and what is of the Devil. We all have that gift. Unbelievers do not know the things of God.
---catherine on 3/4/07

Susie, I have re-occuring dreams about water also. But in my dream the water is always a negative thing. Like, for example, the water would be polluted. And in each dream I have to go in the water for some reason, lots of time to save my kids who, in the dreams, are still babies. ?

Only God can interpret dreams and remember that. The devil will have u think that u can. Lots of people believe that the dead can come back n haunt one..Load of nonsense when the bible dont even say that. It says, the dead dont know anything let alone do anything. They are dead ..gone duast.

Quite often I have dreams about floods or driving into water. I didn't understand them for a long time until an elderly friend of mine mentioned that she had a "rough water" dream. I now realize that everytime I have one of those dreams it is God warning me ahead of time and I am prepared for the turmoil to come.

Hi Sally, LOL. I never watch Star Trek. But you're probably right, from watching to many dumb TV shows. Sometimes my dreams are so vivid and real. I have re-occuring dreams all the time too. They are very detailed and long. Boring to other people, but totally interesting to me!
---sue on 2/25/07

Sally, Please don't get offended, I was just asking does God [confirm] those dreams? There must be a confirmation. In regard to prayer and fasting, this is a must in regard to being [sensitive] to the Holy Spirit, because Its the Holy Spirit that operates ALL of the [real] spiritual Gifts from God. God Bless!

(2.)Sally, You are saying that you receive these dreams somewhat often, AND in addition you [ interpret ] others dreams. The Word says in the last days some children of God will receive revelation from God in different ways, one being via dreams, but we must be careful because the enemy is very [tricky], once again God will [always] confirm any supernatural experience that is from [Him]. Please be careful. God Bless!
---Mrs._Morgan on 2/21/07

Mrs.Morgan...Please give me scripture for prayer and fasting before dreams come. I can't find that one in the Bible. God gives these dreams to me when HE wants to, not when I want them.

**When God shares His knowledge with humans, there is no confusion.**

What's not yet determined is whether God indeed HAS shared His knowldge with Sally.

Dreams can be fascinating or fascinatingly confusing.
When God shares His knowledge with humans, there is no confusion.
Bottom line: all of the gifts from God are to help people, they do not bring harm.

Sally, Did you seek the Lord in prayer and fasting [before] you received these dreams? Another point is that God will always confirm His dreams, visions, prophecies, etc. If He doesn't [confirm] it, then it isn't from Him. How does God confirm these dreams that you believe you receive from Him? God Bless!
---Mrs._Morgan on 2/21/07

Sue...I'd say you've been watching way too much Star Trek.
---Sally on 2/21/07

If it's a dream from God, the meaning will be clear. A multitude of interpretations are not required. Misguided prophets (profits) and prophecies from dreams can be confused with the real things of God.
---Michelle on 2/21/07

Hi Sally, I was wondering, if you can possibly interpret this dream I had 2 nights ago. Me and my husband were looking at all these really nice houses. We were going to buy one, but each one was better than the last one. It was so fun. The strange thing is, the houses were all in outer space?

** Jack: if Sally feels in her heart she has this gift, she don't need anyone telling her she is right. **

"Feeling in the heart" is no proof of anything, according to the Bible.

Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
---Jack on 2/21/07

This is definitely a gift from God. When I wake up from these dreams, I know exactly what they mean. I also know when a dream is not from God, but is just a result of being too tired or eating the wrong thing. I have interpreted dreams on a couple of occasions for people who asked. They had no idea that I had this gift as it is not something I broadcast. No gift from God needs to be advertised.
---Sally on 2/21/07

"Sure, If the person or people don't mind go ahead and have fun."

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are never given for fun!!!!
---Sally on 2/21/07

I think you could have this gift. How accurate have you been in the past? I think some things like this come from God, surely Daniel and Joseph had the gift so why wouldn't someone in our time have it? But we must be carefull because the devil can trick people so it is hard to say for sure where the gift is coming from.I think if you are a christian and pray to God for interpretation then it would have to come from God. I wish someone could tell me what my dreams mean? Someone of God.

Jack: if Sally feels in her heart she has this gift, she don't need anyone telling her she is right. Sally; if you know that you have this gift, and you can interpret others dreams, go for it. Daniel interpreted Nebuchadnezzar's dreams. If God can use Daniel with his gift, he can use you.
---Rebecca_D on 2/21/07

Sure, If the person or people don't mind go ahead and have fun. You know on judgment day, God is going to ask us what we did with the gifts that he gave us. So we had better use them.
---catherine on 2/21/07

And just who, besides you, says you have the gift of interpretation of dreams, Sally?
---Jack on 2/20/07

1John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
I never say any body's a Devil dud without careful examination.

Answering your question should be important enough to fast and pray to be sure. Spiritual gifts do seem to be turned on in us out of nowhere, but never without understanding/purpose. God wouldn't give a six year old a power drill, and that's what the wrong spirits will be to your soul.
