I was baptized when I was
11 or 12, and then again at 22. Not sure I ever really understood why.

I was sprinkled as an infant but realized at 15 that I was as lost as the devil. So I repented and got baptized. I didn't consider my sprinkling as anything more than a dedication service of which I am thanful for but it doesn't replace the baptism of repentance preached in the Bible. My parents also got saved and baptized at that time.

I was baptised when I was 3 months old. Then, when I was 13 I was confirmed, and I acknowledged my baptimal again and answered the questions that my God parent answred for me when I was a baby.

Which Baptism are you talking about? Water or Holy Spirit as mentioned in Acts 2:38?
Holy Spirit Baptized in 1983. Water Baptized as an adult - 1983.
Water Baptized as a baby because I was born into a Catholic family - 1958.
Now you know my age..YIKES...lol.

At 10, baptized in a baptismal font in Baptist Church. At 11, foster parents wanted to make sure I was saved, had me baptized by their Nazarene pastor in creek. At 12, after adopted, I was forced to be baptized again in a swimming pool at church camp because my adopted parents' church believes that their church is the only "true" church. When I became an adult, I was baptized by my choice to show that I belonged to Jesus now!!!

Emcee - Water baptism does not remove sin. Only the Blood of Jesus shed on the Cross can remove sin.

I recently heard a Lutheran pastor on a radio question and answer program make this statement. If the child should die before being baptized the child goes to hell !!!
