Oh but he is a most loving God. God has made it plain and simple, and He has given the sinner more than enough chances to repent. Remember He doesn't want all to perish, but come to Him for forgiveness. The fight he is fighting is with Satan, whom is traveling around to seek and devour our souls. Read Rev. It is a wonderful book. Full of so much insight. Ask for guidence from the Holy Spirit before reading. This will open your mind for what God wants you to learn about this subject.

1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Part2. Ezek.47:12 written about 400 yrs. before Rev.

12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

Part 1.
You have to keep this in perspective to the word of God. He Has To Reclense this Earth from all the Pollution & desrtuction that MAN has Caused, Not to mention ALL the Plagues that are coming upon the Earth.
1st. God has to rid the Heavens from ALL the junk we have floating around the Heavens.
2nd. A New Earth Doest Mean a brand New Earth. Theirs alot about this in the Bible.

dean, He is also a God of righteousness, justice, and His wrath is furious. He will destroy everything because it has already been destroyed with sin. Imagine if you made something and it and all its offspring continually defied you and even began to deny your existence, how would you react? And, let's not forget everything is His creation He will do with it as He pleases. Don't be the pot that shakes his fist at the Potter and curses the Potter for the way He made the pot.

The Saints in Heaven will tread upon gold. This is no illusion. The Saints are then at rest, not a passive rest, but a state of delightful motion. [interesting to me] The gates shall never be shut. There the Saints shall have no inpure persons admitted among them. No not one. None admitted into Heaven who work aboninations. free from hypocrites, Such as make lies. [Rev. 21 describes the new Heaven]

If God is going to make a new Earth, then this might not be the last judgment of God? What to say the creations in the new Earth don't defile it again?
---dean on 3/19/07

Dean, God will replace this polluted earth with a new and perfect one which will be populated by those He saved. Read Revelation 21 to see what this earth will be like and you will see that He is indeed "the God of love, grace and mercy."

God is the God of love, grace and mercy. God is also the God of righteous judgment. To say God is only love is giving only half the view of God. You must look at who God is in total of character.

God said that he will make an new earth. He said that he promised not to destroy the earth again with water, but the next time will be with fire. The one that rebel against God, will make him angry. God is all about love, grace and mercy. He has mercy upon all people. But God has given people chance after chance after chance to come to him, and alot will refuse.
