Pre-Wrath Rapture

Has anyone ever heard of the word pre-wrath rapture? Is pre-wrath rapture maybe a better word to properly explain the timing of the rapture versus the false doctrine of a pre-trib rapture?

If you focus on the rapture and put your hope in it you may not have your focus on the coming kingdom when God judges all in righteousness. (2nd one = joyfully staying in Christ -for you working for your salvation)

I do hope for a rapture, but I can't prove it... either way nothing can take away the righteousness Jesus gives away.

The pre-trib rapture is a hoax & not scriptural, it makes christians believe they have nothing to do but wait on God to take them away before any persecution comes & if they are not raptured they will have "another chance" to get right with God. This is a lie from the Devil, when Jesus comes back anyone who is not His will die forever. Today is the day for salvation, not tomorrow.

DP, there you go again claiming "Revelation speaks about the Antichrist". Where??? You speak of "this man of deciet". How do you know he's a man?? Then he "will reverse his intentions and set out to destroy mankind". Hasn't Satan's plan always been to destroy mankind?? Think, Bro, think!! Quit parrotting!
---Joshua on 4/17/07

Yeah, I heard these views in Seminary before, and they're still being debated. Some say the rider with no arrows is the antichrist, not Satan. Some say it's Christ. (He's riding a white horse also at the end you know.) I even heard one recently claim its the pope. I'm only positive of what the text clearly says. It does say the red dragon is Satan. I see no such clear identification of the 1st rider. So who's adding to the text here? I suppose you think the ones in Zechariah 1 are Satanic also?

In [Daniel 9:20-27] we learn that there is a 'seven' [7 year period] that will take effect in regards to future latter day events with Israel. In the Middle of the 'Seven' the Antichrist will start his plan of destroying the World.
Revelation tells us that the Antichrist will come as a powerful man of Trust and Peace! [As elder explains with the 4 horseman]. Later-this man of deciet will reverse his intentions and set out to destroy mankind and another Jewish Holocaust will take place.

As Jesus Christ explains [Luke 21:36] "Be always on watch, and pray to be found worthy to ESCAPE all that is going to happen!"
[1 Thess. 5:3] "..when they say peace and safety, destruction will come.. and they will NOT escape"

If Christ says in [Luke 21:36] that we will ESCAPE, this makes it CLEAR will not be in the Tribulation mentioned in [1 Thess. 5:3]. It would not make sense and it Contradicts the statement of Christ to believe otherwise!

Joshua, I understand your confusion. Since you cannot tell from the text who Satan is. He is riding the first horse. If you can't see that then you would be confused about the rest.
There are 5 characters here, 4 riders and 4 horses and the Lamb (Jesus). Jesus opens all 7 seals. He is not riding.
V16-17 explains that it is Jesus' wrath that is come on earth. The first broken seal begins that 7 year period.
It is as plain as the Revelation in front of your face.
Add to it if you want....

Elder: If "the churches are never spoke of again after 3:22" and Ch 4 & 5 (to the end?) are "about happenings in Heaven" (as you say), then the Church is not in heaven then by your logic.

Ch 6 is also in heaven since the horses come from the Zoan voices spoken out of the throne. The first seal is probably NOT Satan, (maybe the 4th?) And the seals might precede the trib rather than be the start of it as you say. I think you are taking too many liberties with the text.
---Joshua on 3/24/07

In Revelation there are many things going on in Heaven and earth at the same time.
Ch 2 & 3 is the messages to the 7 churches. In ch 4 a door is opened in Heaven and John finds himself there. The Churches are never spoke of again after 3:22.
Ch 4 & 5 are about happenings in Heaven.
Ch 6 is about things on earth. The first seal is broken and Satan comes in on a white horse.
This is certainly not the middle of the Tribulation but at the start.

Those who say that "the rapture" (Christ's coming to gather His people), will occur before the "7-year tribulation" (the "pre-trib rapture view"), rightly cite verses saying we will be saved from wrath. But since the wrath ("the Great Tribulation"), does not begin till after the midpoint of the 7 years, the "pre-wrath rapture view" is not the same as the "pre-trib view".

There is a MAJOR difference between giving someone a Hard time, and being beheaded!

Beheadings will take place during the Great Tribulation [Revelation 20:4]. This is what Christ wants his faithful followers to Miss [Luke 21:36]!
And how does Christ help us ESCAPE this? By a Rapture [1 Corninthians 15:52 & 1 Thessalonians 4:17]!
Before the Hour of Trial [Revelation 3:10]!

deputy-Noah was removed from the flood by an Ark!
Lot removed from Sodom when Angels of God advised him to leave the city!

Noah and Lot were (left behind), everyone else were taken...
---Ruben on 3/21/07

Noah didn't escape tribulation, he escaped God's wrath. Don't think for one moment that the people didn't give Noah a difficult time when he was building the Ark.

Even though the word "Rapture" is not mentioned in the bible, the Rapture Concept is!
[1 Corinth. 15:52] "..the ones who are still alive will be change, in a twinkling of an eye.. the perishable made imperishable.."
How fast is a blink of an eye? Very fast, less than a second!
Notice how it states - CHANGED. This makes it clear it will be a Supernatural Change from the physical body to the spiritual form! No death!
---DePuTy on 3/20/07

After [1 Corinth. 15:52], the following will occur:

[1 Thess. 4:17] "..we will meet the Lord in the Air.."
Pre-Trib? I believe so, because in Revelation 19&20 we see Christ RETURNING in the CLOUDS to destroy the Anti-Christ and Reign here on Earth for a thousand years! Why would we need to meet Christ in the air [1 Thess. 4:17] if he is coming to stay here on earth? Precisely because there will be a Pre-Trib Rapture to Escape ALL that will happen [Luke 21:36].
---DePuTy on 3/20/07

Noah was removed from the flood by an Ark!
Lot removed from Sodom when Angels of God advised him to leave the city!

In the same way, we who are found worthy as mentioned in [Luke 21:36] will escape the Hour of Trial [Tribulation] mentioned in [Revelation 3:10]

The Bible says we "are to be spared the wrath that is to come". It also says that the Lord will descend from Heaven with a shout, the trumpet of God and the voice of the archangel.. the dead in Christ will rise first and then we who are left shall be caught up together with them and then shall we always be with the Lord! (paraphrased from I Thess.) Forever and even. Amen! Even so, come Lord Jesus!!

pre-trib rapture is a false doctrine? But that is the popular view of today that I hear preached by some very biblical solid pastors. I don't understand what is the truth?
---jack on 3/19/07

We are to be ready, holy without sin (in the Holy Spirit) and serving God, at all times; and when he comes we will go up to be with him. Sin-supporters beware, else he come and find you serving sin and not doing his will, and you will be left behind.
---Eloy on 3/19/07

Never heard the term!
The Bible knows no RAPTURE either!(especially a secret one.) P.
