My Mom has made this cake several times for church functions. The cake is great and contains a lot of fiber.

I will try the recipe. Sounds good. Love to bake and cook. Thanks

I've seen this recipe a time or two. I think it's silly.

I buy a cookbook for instructions on how to cook something, not to be sent scurrying through the Bible.

I got the recipe from a lady at church. I also found this recipe from the internet. It has figs, flour, milk, honey, etc. It is 10 or more ingredients. I thought about making it and giving my testimony in church about what I learned from the scriptures in recipe.

I haven't. But I tell you what, if we ate the way God told the Jews to eat, we would not have a weight problem.

---Helen_5378 on 3/22/07

It's sounds like getting your cake and eating it too :)

To me I didn't think it was silly. Because it gets one to read the bible. And it is really good for teenagers to do something along with the bible.
