I just recieved an email from a man today who was severly beaten and thrown into prison for smuggling Bibles into Saudi and having secret meetings of Christian fellowship in his home there. Yes, there is persecution. This man is in the UK now and barely excaped Saudi.

What does it mean "if they hated me they will hate you".
If we don't face some opposition we are not sharing the gospel. We have no persecution in the USA being uncomfortable is not persecution.

That "someone" must be using the real Jack's name, or he really didn't exist.

I never paid much attention to this persecution stuff until I came here and was confronted with being called the whore of babylon, a false prophet, etc etc etc.

**They are all idle worshipers.Discrimination is there. **

I assume you mean IDOL worshippers.

Which idols do they worship: Jupiter, Venus, and Mars? Or Egyptian idols such as Isis and Horus?

I would be curious. I've never met a real live idolater before.

Except, of course, for people on these blogs who believe in Jesuses they've made up out of their own heads.

Indirectly I experienced religious persecution. But I could feel how it is. My husband is an Evangelical Pastor the only Christian among the 9 members of the family. Activities they have for the family they don't give us the chance to talk to any family gatherings.
They are all idle worshipers.Discrimination is there.

Yes I have been persecuted for my faith - in a very small way compared with what happens in China and many muslim counties though. I don't wish to give details but I resigned a job because life was made so unpleasant for me because I would not compromise over certain issues. I'm pleased to say that my resignation was the last thing the boss expected, she was stunned and it took 2 years to find a replacement for me.

God, took me out of my home and placed me in an apartment complex for four years. Into the third year, on a Sunday morning while I was listening to some gospel music God's power came over me and swept me out into the breezeway, My mouth opened and I yelled out condemning everyone that was throwing condones, beer cans and bottles, ciq. butts all around the complex, and also sleeping with the neighbors,I was arrested. I also know what braine washing is.

Part two-- God had warned me that the devil would try and stop me on one other occasion. And I said, "oh yea just let Him try it." Ha, Ha. So later, I ask Jesus, "What did you think when I said that. And HE said, "I didn't have to think, I knew what was going to happen." AH Jesus.

I have known several Christians that have lost job promotions or even gotten fired because they wouldn't compromise God's standards. Even though this isn't a physical persecution, nevertheless it's not a fun experience.

God's spoiled brats, USA pop-evangelical dispensationalists , have NO IDEA what relgious persecution for Christ's sake is.

If you want to know what REAL persecution for Christ is, consider the 4 Indonesian Christian girls who were kidnapped on their way to school. Three were beheaded, but the 4th escaped. The severed heads were thrown in the street with the note "Wanted: 100 more Christian heads."

Look up DHIMMI on the web, and weep.

This is the SECOND time of posting.

yes, I was persecuted by women who were in a relationship, and a relative. The relative wanted to live with the two women, I told relative what they practiced was abomination before God. The two women took me to court on behalf of relative, the relative was 15, State of Texas said she had the right to choose where she wanted to stay, she was incouraged to stay with the two partners...
---Chris on 3/21/07

The partners, placed her in Christian Prep school... believing they were showing they were christ like. Well, relative is no longer there... she had to leave... was failing and getting into all sorts of trouble...relative is having hard times...and so are the two women. They try to hide it, but they can't. "There is nothing done in the dark that will not come to light."
