While I do agree that being with a non-believer adds stress to future marriage because of issues with family beliefs among other things. My husband wasn't a believer atfirst, but he was baptized and is a Christian father and husband now. He's wonderful. I would be careful and tell my own daughters and son to try to find a Christian mate, but let's not forget that we can touch the hearts of those around us and bring them to Christ. Stick to YOUR convictions and encourage your boyfriend to seek Christ.

No, because dating, as we have it today, was NOT a social custom of Bible times.

Men and women simply did not mix in public gatherings, and sometimes not even in the bosom of the family.

When your parents felt you were ready (regardless of your sex), a marriage would be arranged for you by the families of the couple. You didn't marry for love of your spouse (whom you might not meet until under the chupah), but for love of your family.

Christians are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14-17). If you want to obey God, then you will have to let your boyfriend go.

I am writing as fast as I can. I need a publisher. I wrote two books for the mature Christian dating woman and man. The moment the hit the presses, I will be on this site to make the announcement - in the name of Jesus!

He will not be able to understand the things of God,unless he genuinely want to. The worse thing you can do is fall in love with him you will battle with your emotions that will cloud your vision of the truth. This is Satans territory and without God in his life you are fighting satan alone Get out of this trap before it is too late. It will do you no good to fight against the word of God. Getting him save so you can marry him is a whole dangerous ball game!

The reason why it is dangerous is because you are new to Christ or do not read very often or you would be aware that this union is not acceptable. Just in case you think you can di it and pull it off, as as many Christians as you can and get a good view of some of their comment and then refer to the bible. I know many that have tried these realationships sit alone without hope and their children, because their hope in the unsaved(man) got up and left.

Dating does not mean going to someone with lustily desire. You can go out dating to someone not in a place that you will be tempted to do things against the will of God because this the commandment. Be ye not equally yoked together with unbelievers and your chance now is let him know the gospel and you might be the bridge that he will be save by showing your Godly love to him.

Just my 2 cents worth here: I've made tons of mistakes in my marriages but honestly, I would have saved myself TONS of pain and shame had I listened to my mother! :) Oh, if I only knew then what I know now; that's life lol

Do you think we would be better off continuing to have parents arrange marriages today? I read that only 2% of arranged marriages end in divorce.

Yes, a Christian and a non-believer shouldn't be dating as they are unequally yoked.

2 Corinthians 6:14 1st Corinthians 6:9-10
God said ask for wisdom He will give it to you.

I will give you one Christian dating tip regarding dating this non-believer. DON'T!!! The Bible says not to be unequally yoked. Do not try to evangelize as a dating tool.
