My hobby is buying and selling antiques and collectibles. That's how I relax and have fun. Love flea markets, auctions, yard sales, etc. But, I hate to shop in regular stores and malls.

I relax by knowing a few things.>>>The law of God, the God of life, is a hedge of protection about our lives. Now that is relaxing. >>>We must not only guard against sinful acts but sinful thoughts as well. Now I just thought I would mention that. Have a good day.

After my sister cooled down, I asked her how the shaving cream felt. She said that it cooled down her feet. Colgate is a good brand.
---brian on 5/9/07

Oh! the light just went on!
think I'll go out and buy me some cool whip!
---Cynthia_1 on 5/8/07

brian, you silly goose.
How old are you, 44? 64?
I don't care, that's funny right there.
---Obv. on 5/7/07

God gave me a good life and I'm going to live it to the fullest. What do you mean what else is there? There are lots of ways to have good clean fun.
---Rebecc_D on 5/7/07

Shaving cream. It actually gives your feet that fresh feel and smell all day. Marketing ideas. I wonder if my sister would indorse it. Uh O! I hear her screaming again. I wonder what booby trap she found this time. Must go see!
---brian on 5/7/07

Rebecca, I spend the rest of my day working out my own salvation, and pray without ceasing, that about wraps it up for me.
---Cynthia_1 on 5/6/07

What else is there, Rebecca D?
---catherine on 5/6/07

Cynthia: What else do you do for fun besides clean house and bloggin on Christianet?
---Rebecca_D on 5/5/07

Rebecca, I come to ChristiaNet, for fun.
---Cynthia_1 on 5/5/07

I don't know why, Brian, but I like it.
I might even use it this summer for a family reunion that's coming up. Yes!!!
---Obv. on 5/4/07

Brian, I hope your sister doesn't read this blog or you better check YOUR shoes from now on. I might even BE your sister but I will never, go relax.
---? on 5/4/07

Brian: That is relaxing, that is just plain stupid. It is okay to have fun, but like you, a person can take it too far.
---Rebecca_D on 5/3/07

I am housesitting while family of my mother's husband sells the house. It can be relaxing to be quiet here, in a mansion, not having to pay any of the bills . . . baking bread from scratch with no recipe or machine, just prayerfully see what God has me doing enjoying Him.

Fun to see people for a moment, here or there, sharing on the Internet . . . caring is relaxing, very satisfying.
---Bill_bila5659 on 5/4/07

I relax by putting shaving cream in my sisters shoes at night. When she get's up and puts her shoes on in the morning, I'm just going out the door. I can still hear her scream when I'm half way down the block. Yes!!!

I love to watercolor paint. I've been knitting and that is very relaxing, except when I cant figure out what the heck the pattern means...and then I have to rip all my knitting out. Anyway, I love to read and listen to good music and mess around on the laptop.

"'Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.'" (Matthew 11:29) So, BASICALLY, in order to relax, I just be quiet while God gets me into sweetly soothing rest in His love, then see whatever He pleases to do with me in His peace > "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)
---Bill_bila5659 on 5/2/07

I read, listen to music, or go swing at the park to relax and unwind.

I love the warm months, thats when I'm the most active, I take pictures, spend early
Saturday mornings at garage sales, and resale shops.
I crochet, making baby things, and afghans is my specialty. I fill baskets for all occasions, sell some, give away lot's:)
I enjoy leisurely walks, and drives. (gas prices may cut some of the drives short:))
Look out for interesting plays, operas, or art, get folks together, go out to eat, to the theatre, and have great fun.

In the warmer weather I love to camp and fish. In the colder weather I like to play games on the PC, read. At anytime I like to listen to christian music. Sometimes I'll just sit and do nothing and let my mind wander where it will which is usually on God.

I go fly fishing, hiking, camping, and canoeing. I used to like repelling down mountains, but I'm over that. My husband is a wild and wooly outdoorsman. He's headed for Alaska in a few weeks. I'm going to stay home and help take care of my Dad.
---Rachel on 4/12/07

I play soccer, run, or watch tv.
---Rickey on 4/12/07

I love to grow fruit and vegies in my garden.
And this may sound funny but to relax I like going to the gym for a good workout. I get to mingle with some people that I normally don't see and get to sow a lot of good seed for the Lord.

My life is mostly filled with meeting people, doing things and going places. I work as a technical writer for an avionics company, teach English a couple of days a week, meet friends over a cup of coffee/dinner or just simply help the poor or comfort the sick. I usually leave the house at 5:30am and don't return home until eight/nine in the evening. The time I truly relax is when I go to a certain park on Saturday afternoon and spend time with God - no books, no magazines, no radio, no ipod, no laptop.
---Steveng on 4/12/07

In the summer my father-n-law and I plant a huge garden. When I'm not tending to it, I have a flower garden that my kids and I plant. The people in my church will get together and have cook-outs on the river or at one's house. When a cartoon comes to the theathers my family will go to the Movies. We go to flea markets, yardsales. We like to go camping. I can't wait.
---Rebecca_D on 4/12/07

I go to the gym, go to my knitting socials three times a month, go for walks with my sister-in-law, crochet, read, talk to friends on the phone, journal, listen to classical music, play with my cats, garden when the weather is warmer, go to the pool and swim, watch a funny movie, play games with family, visit with my kids when they are in town.
---Madison1101 on 4/12/07

How I relax is to read or do crafting. I also relax by chatting with a friend online. Relaxing to is spending time with my children and talk with them on how their day went in school and stuff. I relax by making life as simple as possible for me and my family.
