If your mind is renewed with the Word of God.HE can WORK THROUGH you as that empty vessel-filled with HIS GLORY.
His Word-confirmed by His Spirit-in you.
He alone-gets COMPLETE glory.
(Hands)-God working through you=7
Sealed with the number of completeness=7.
The mark of the Beast is the opposite.(6)

The belief that the Holy Spirit is the seal given to Christians largely comes from 2 verses in Ephesians.
Eph 1:13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
The seal is a descriptor of ownership.

Is that your church phrase, I cannot find the Seal of the Holy Spirit in the bible.

The seal is widely accepted by scholars as an identification. The identification of Christ. Basically, if you have become sealed you have become a Christian and are identified as such by God with His Holy Spirit.

The seal of the Holy Spirit is the great seal of God...It is being bound in the word of God which nothing or no one but God himself can take from you.

r.w. , Amen!
The Word speaks about being steadfast, receiving godly faith from the Lord, being diligent, walking in the Spirit, taking on the Mind of Christ, taking heed, etc. God [requires] that Christians depend on Him,obey Him... live in His Word/Truth, which is living in His Love(Rom. 8:35-39). (Galatians 5:1,16-18)(Galatians 6:7-9)(Hebrews 12:14,15). God Bless!

mima thinks you lose your free will after receiving Jesus. Matt 10:22 Mk13:13 he that endureth to the end shall be saved. that's conditional.

---jody By this statement"That Seal can become meaningless if one turns from God back into the world." Are you saying that the puny actions of man and make the actions of God(being sealed by the Holy Spirit) meaningless? Come come my good man that is ridiculous.

Eph. 1:13-14 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
The notion that the seal of the Holy Spirit does not mean we who are in Christ, will not have an inheritance is truly contrary to Scripture. There are no conditions attached except for one to believe.

The notion of the Seal of the Holy Spirit implies a promise from the person of the Holy Spirit to stay indwelled within the believer. That Seal can become meaningless if one turns from God back into the world. As far as wittnessing goes, the seal is not relevant to salvation. When I wittness, I call upon the Spirit to show the person about Jesus Christ as the propitiation for sins. I keep it simple.

Brad, see Ephesians 1:13 and 4:30.

Yes and I give scriptures backing me up. John 6:27, 2 Cor 1:22, Eph 1:13, Eph 4:30.

The seal of God is a superimposed focus in life that is directed toward a clear understanding of the Fathers Divine expression of Himself, allowing us to perceive, recognize & understand the wonder & majesty of His person & authority. The Father, thru His gift of salvation, has set us apart for eternal life through the indwelling presence of His Spirit. If this focus is maintained by allowing His word to become our central point of attention there will be no place in us for the deceiver or his deceptions.
