Jesus said he would be with us unto the end of the World,i.e Age.This current dispensation age of Grace, then will that wicked one be revealed, the Anti Christ.Christ will not take the Spirit out and leave the Church here, but will take the Church with it at the Rapture. The Earth was created to be inhabited forever. It is a world without end.The New Heaven and the New Earth is not a totally different planet or atmosphere, but one that is cleansed of sin and it's affects. One where-in dwelleth righteousness.

1. After His resurrection, Jesus told His desciples that He must leave them but would send The Comforter, which we all know is The Holy Spirit......

If the HS and the church are to be removed at the "rapture", then why would Jesus make the following statement in Matthew 28:20

20"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."

2. Why would Jesus promise that He would never leave us alone then turn around and take the Comforter away from His people when He will be needed the most?????

Now, THAT makes no sense...
He promised to be with His people "..even UNTO the END of the world."(emphasis mine)

So, who are you going to believe?
Jesus' own words or the word of some man?
For me, the answer is about you?

Jesus made the statement that Satan could not cast out Satan. How could it be possible that Satan was witholding himself from being revealed. One must carefully read the contexted of the passage. The he that is witholding the wicked one from being revealed must be removed. If this is Satan, then he would not be the one being revealed. But according to the passage,it is the Wicked one that is going to be revealed. So how could this not be the Holy Spirit and the Church. This is the ONLY conclusion.

I remember reading about this in the Gospels, not sure which one, but I believe Paul is describing the same spirit that was at work in Judas when he betray Jesus. I remember Jesus saying, what is it to you if I let it continue on in the World. The mystery of iniquity is the Work of Satan.

I agree with tommy. when the Rapture of the Church takes place, the Holy Spirit will be removed. Then the antichrist will come forth.

The He of this verse is speaking of the Holy Spirit. This verse is speaking of the Mistery of Iniquity(Anti-Christ)being revealed, and what is with-holding him. When te Spirit is removed at the Rapture of the Church, the Mistery of Iniquity will rise to power throught he person of the Anti-Christ.

I believe this verse refers to the antichrist who is being held in check until the rapture of the church; however those of you who do not believe in the rapture or pre-trib will not agree with me.

This is referring to the Holy Spirit. Evil is not allowed to run as it would like to because of the Holy Spirit. When He (the Holy Spirit) is removed Satan will run as he pleases.

That scripture means that God/Jesus/Holy Spirit is holding back some of the covert work of Satan at this time but a time will come when God will let go and evil will take over. At that time the AntiChrist.
