dawngordon - *Jesus said he came to fulfill the prophecy not to change the laws. always keep this in mind, ....*

But the law that was distinctively Jewish was not imposed on the Gentile converts. We read in Acts 15 that Gentiles were not obliged to be circumcised and we can logically surmise that they were not obligated to observe the Jewish Sabbath, dietary laws, etc. - laws that if imposed would have prevented the spread of the gospel to other nations.

Jesus said he came to fulfill the prophecy not to change the laws. always keep this in mind, we make mistakes that is when grace and mercy are used.

Those in Christ - Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Those that believe one must adhere to a peculiar ethical system are those who have rejected God's grace in believing salvation is dependent upon ones own efforts.

those that take Christ as savior and WALK with him, turn away from the sins, the ten commandments etc...the scriptures from Paul are very clear that you need to change into someone different, you can not take Christ as savior then mock it by continuing to sin when you know what you are doing is wrong, you need to repent after you take Christ, a true follower will be persecuted like the Lord, when you see those tv shows and it looks like those people are worshiping their ministers, something is amiss,

Those who are born again(converted).

Jesus was speaking of His own people that the Father had given Him. [John 10:30] "I and my Father are one". The Shepherd is so careful that He has them not only within His fold, but in His hand, and taken under His special protection. Yet their enemies are so daring that they attempt to pluck them out of His hand; But they cannot, They hear my voice, and I know them. The Lord knows who His people are, So everyone who worships the Lord must turn away from evil. [2 Timothy 11:19]

Those that will have age abiding life are those that will follow in the priesthood of Jesus, "after the order of Melchizedek." So does Christs elect priesthood include every believer that calls the name of Christ?

Before we answer this question, we had better research the OT, and who it was that handled the holy things of the Temple. Not all Jews were priest "Levites," not all Levites are of Airon. The priesthood could only be of Aaron. So it is today, Not all that claim the name of Christ are priests. God bless.

You know Jesus is the Christ. the scriptures are the word of God. You turn away from your sins. That is what being born again is all about. You change your life for the better. You now avoid adultery, idolatry, breaking commandments of God. Your example radiates Jesus Christ and not satan. Jesus said murderers, adulterers, idolators and those living in rebellion to him will NOT receive his kingdom. That is why it is imperative to repent and never commit those sins again so forgiveness can be granted.

Well, I am going to burst some bubbles here! The only way anyone can be saved is, If God first convicts you that you are a sinner and that you will die and go to Hell if you are not forgiven. Now if you are smart you will tell Him, "NO, I don't want to die and go to Hell". Unless Salvation is offered to you, You do not stand a chance. You will die in your sins and you will go to Hell. It is the Blood of Jesus Christ. God and God alone does the choosing, Through His Son Jesus Christ. ++

Jesus says, "I give" . . . present tense. I offer He means we have eternal life, NOW. Jesus in us s-h-a-r-e-s His very own eternal LOVE life with us, so we are sharing sensitively and submissively with our Heavenly Father, NOW - - AND better and better as we GROW in this.

This love life is in us, NOW > Romans 5:5 with 1 John 5:11

Christ in us shares with us how He is relating personally with our Father > Galatians 2:20 with John 17:20-23

They hear my voice they are my sheep and they follow. These are the true believers, and will have eternal life. Those that are deaf to Christ are not His sheep. [follow me] In vain do we hear His voice if we do not follow Him. No man or devil can take you away from Jesus. As there is eternal life so is there eternal destruction. So the true believers who will inherit heaven will obey God.

Jesus was speaking too the Pharisees and unbelievers. Note that the Pharisees were the LAW abiding religious ones whom Jesus hated. Their condemnation could not pull the elect out of Jesus'hand. These types exist today and are stumbling blocks but cannot fool the elect. The sad part is that they think that they are right but will be told "I never knew you.Depart from me thou worker of iniquity".

Beleivers and those that belong to God. It could very well be the 44,000 sealed. 12,000 from each tribe of Israel but I am just speculating...The number can be much much more...

Those who die to themselves. Placing themselves & the life given them into the Fathers' hands. Yielding to an empowered childlike trust, submission, humility, & dependency upon Him. Implementing an unyielding, unwavering exercise of faith in Him & His Word.

Part 2

4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

My sheep hear my voice and the voice of a stranger they will not follow. Jesus is speaking about those whom are His children, the true worshippers, His children who have surrendered their will unto Him and are His true child of God.

The ones that are true Christians. He isn't talking about the so-called Christians. Because they are backsliders and removed themselves out of God's palms.

Look at John 10:25-30 in context. Christ is talking about the Elect who were chosen by the Father for salvation and given to Christ to be in his flock. Once in his flock they have the full protection of the shepherd and nothing can remove them from that flock.
