Should I Work In China

I work in a school in China where I see and hear too many comments that are unBiblical like that Moses believed in MANY Gods in their school books. Speak about God, yes, but should I continue to work here?

In everything we do, Christians are to glorify God. If you want to go into your neighborhood or halfway around the world, you are setting an example of glorifying God. Whatever your decision is alright with God, but let him guide you. You don't have to wait for God to give you permission to go to China, just do it. Then, of course, if God asks you to do something, do it. You surely don't want to end up in the belly of a fish.

Peter5448, sounds like you have an excellent opportunity to witness. Perhaps God has lead you to that very school for a reason? ,-)

After considering going to China. I notified them that I would not be coming. The next morning I got a telephone call from the recruiter telling me that the Holy Spirit had told her to tell me to come to China. I went to China(as a English speaker in college) and was on the field witnessing for six months. I saw 87 people accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior in that time.

Looks like China's getting a wake up call!
I wonder how many will turn to God?

The Chinese Communist government is very unfriendly to Christian missionary or evangelical activity. As these activities are considered subversive activity by that government. If you are a US national be exceptionally careful what you do or say when working there. You could get yourself into life threatening political situation where the US State Department can't help you. Martyrdom is generally noneffective Christian apologetics in such political environments.

Speaking of China. Get a load of this. All over the world unbelievers are hiring Unbelievers to so call>> straighten this world out. Devils hiring Devils. And we wonder why the answers are not forthcoming, in solving the world's problems. Come on, think about it. All of you who really knows God. Think about it.++

Money isnt everything, especially when your faith is compromised. Its hard to work around people who have been taught different, its a damper on your spirit! I dont know about you but its to close to the return of jesus for me to be out of place.

Are you allowed to speak the name Jesus Christ? I doubt it. You are brave. China is still an atheistic society. As far as continuing to work there, Seek God on it. If the desire, will, is still in you, That is a good indicator, Provided the living God lives in you.

Pray and fast, seek God. Ask God if you should stay there. It could be time for you to come home. Asking humans about a Godly decision is not the best solution.
Some are sent, some just went.

Some see in the Bible, especially in the early narratives, an ethos that the God of the Hebrews was bigger and more powerful than deities worshipped by the pagans. There was also the attitude that these other deities had objective existence, but were much weaker.

None of us lives in a vacuum, not even Moses, and it can be debated whether he was a such a strict monotheist that can be found among Calvinists today.

That could be the context of the idea that Moses believed in many gods.

Lots of people work in schools right here in North America and if you worked in them you would here the same thing and even worse. Stay were you are unless God tells you to move on. It's no better here than it is there.

you work for God?
or work for people?
think it over.

Pray and seek the Lord for this. Many Christians teach in the public schools in the US and must deal with lies being taught, but we stand up for Truth regardless. I know I certainly do.
