No, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is essential. He said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life."

Many including my pastor think I'm crazy, Jesus said He is the way. My thought is we'll all stand before Him. He will judge - therefore He is the way. He didn't say He would not accept those that "were a law unto themselves". He's the only way and He will decide at judgement otherwise why judgement.
I believe the gate is narrow but Christ sets those parameters not necessarily the ones we're familiar with.
Its another thing if you deny Him, if you never had an opportunity to accept Him.

(1) Some might not know they have a relationship with Jesus. Matt 25 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink,. . .Then the righteous will answer Him saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink ? and the King will answer and say to them, ... inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of My brethen, you did it to Me.

(2) The righteous seemed pleasantly surprised - not remembering helping Jesus. Man is not a good judge for other men. 1Sam 16:7 "The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." John 14:6. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me." Therefore, persons seeking the truth are seeking Jesus. It also means that Jesus makes those decisions, not us.

NO! I would advise you, if you want to make it to heaven, to get just as close as you can to Him.

Rest assured that there is no meeting with God on our part except through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Rest assured that there is no meeting with God on our part except through Jesus Christ our Redeemer.

No. Sinful man cannot enter into Heaven. Jesus was the only man to live without sin, when we accept him as our personal lord and Savior. We enter into a relationship with him. He becomes our rigtheousness because he gave us his sinless life and took on our sinfull life. There is not other person who has done this.

Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to God and Heaven. You can NOT get into Heaven if you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and have not repented of your sins.

Jn 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father..draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day.

We enter covenant with Christ & become His 'wife'.

Ro 7:4 also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ, THAT YE SHOULD BE MARRIED to another, even TO HIM WHO IS RAISED FROM THE DEAD, to bring forth fruit unto God.

2 Cor 11:2 ..I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I HAVE ESPOUSED YOU TO ONE HUSBAND, that I may PRESENT YOU AS A CHASTE VIRGIN TO CHRIST.

No. Wheather it happens at the end of life or the beginning/middle,one must turn life over to Jesus Christ as lord and savior. We are saved by Grace through faith and repentance. Faith requires relationship and further envolvement with Jesus. We must hear his words and follow him and do the will of the Father. This is a very personal relationship indeed. All of this the Bible teaches.

No. Jesus is the only way to heaven. It doesn't matter if a person was saved umteen years ago, if that person does not abide in Jesus and he in them, every single day, they will not make it.

I understand that the Day of Judgement will be held before Jesus on the throne in Heaven. So, ALL will go to Heaven . . . for their judgement, but then NOT all will stay there. Why not?

Jesus says, "'For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?'" (Matthew 5:46)

In order to be compatible with Jesus as our Groom, we need to be loving like He is > please see 1 John 4:17-18.

"Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma." (Ephesians 5:1-2)

By loving like Jesus, we get to really know how He is, and become compatible with Him so we can spend all eternity with Him and each other.

We find out how He is loving, by relat-ING with Him, and imitat-ING.

Jesus says, "'Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.'" (Matthew 11:29)

By personally sharing and relat-ING with Jesus, we learn from Him > discovering how He is loving and how Jesus has us also loving and personally relating with our Father like Jesus in us relates with Him and constantly submits to Him. THIS prepares us for Heaven.

In Heaven, I understand, we will be constantly in God's own love, at every moment submitting to whatever He has us all doing as one together.

So, now we need to be preparing for how we will be in Heaven, by always being in God's love (Romans 5:5), always submitting to Him . . . practicing this, NOW, so we are obeying "in one body" > Colossians 3:15.

In ACTS 16:30-31 the Scriptures say, 30"And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
Taken as they read these verses state that belief on the Lord Jesus Christ is the determining factor in salvation not a personal relationship with Jesus. Judas had a personal relationship with Jesus!!

Jesus is the only way. There is salvation in none other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. An adherence to, trust in, dependence & reliance upon the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit which acknowledges the lordship of Christ, along with an unwavering confidence in the Father constitutes a personal relationship with Jesus. Only that will ensure our entry into the gates of the new Jerusalem.
