If you want to witness to people simply, effectivly, BIBLICALLY, and the way that JESUS did - use the techniques given by Way of the Master.

I do my best to live the way God wants me to live. I answer questions people have concerning God, Jesus and Christianity to the best of my ability. If they are troubled or hurting I ask if I can pray for them. I do not condemn anyone.

Preaching never saved me, Witnessing never saved me. Jesus Christ under His Blood saved me.

Unsaved people have to be told that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for them before they can get saved.

#1-Presently we are giving way chances to win a car.
And here verbatim is what happened over 30 times this day. After people sign up for a chance to win the car I say," are you absolutely, positively, certain sure, no doubt in your mind, that you will go to heaven when you die? Most people say I do not know, or I am trying, or I hope so. At this point I tell them what the Bible says in three different places," whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"

#2-it does not say, might happen, could happen, maybe it'll happen, no it says plainly, "shall be saved". I now stop and give them a moment to think about this. I then ask them, do you want to call? Many say yes some nod their heads and some say no. In fact today two people made fun of me. If they nod their head yes I then say, OK in 18 words I will show you how to call on the name the Lord. I then ask again do you want to call on the name of the Lord.

#3-I then lead them in the following prayer. "Lord Jesus thank you for coming into my life, forgive me of my sins, save my soul, I totally receive you now." I then show them John 6:37, where it says any man that comes to me I will in no wise cast out. I then ask them, did you call on the name of Lord to save your soul. After they say yes, I then ask them you believe you are saved now or did God lie three times in the Bible. Once they understand what has happened they get real real happy.

My Witnessing style? Faithful! Using both scripture and tradition, I defend the faith, ask questions of the other person, and use solid, gentle, and Christlike apologetics to show them that the Church has never left the Church as Jesus Himself promised, "I will be with you until the end of the age." And, "The gates of hell will not prevail against it."

I get to the point, but without being a pushover.I listen to them & their POV however I also show them the answers according to scripture. Sometimes they agree other times they don't.I give what I can & leave the rest up to God.

Paul said he was all things to all men - and thats how we need to be.

Some of my best witnessing has been when someone bad mouths the church or a televangelist stumbles. Thats a great opportunity to explain exactly who Christ is and how He would be acting.

People love to hear preachers fall, but in the midst of that is salvation redemption and forgiveness - the power of God to use such weak vessels - and on and on and on....

I use whatever the Spirit is leading me to use. It's different for everyone. Some don't respond to one but they do to the other. Don't get in a rut by only using one technique. Be open to the Spirit's leading.
