I believe Satan should be banned from this country.>>>Police ought to be helping little old ladies crossing streets.Instead what do we do? We push God out and tell Satan to come on in. And he brings guns, bombs, knifes, drugs. And here comes the cops Running, confusion all over their faces. Government leaders sitting around long tables heads in their hands with confusion, scratching their heads. They ought to be looking up to God for answers. Instead we Push God out, Satan you can come on him.

Alexia: Talking? Hmmmm -- okay, good idea! :) Effective communication involves a willingness of all parties concerned to actively listen to each other & try to understand (even respect) the position(s) of others whether you agree or not with said position(s). Quite often people, rooted in geo-political/religious agendas, don't want to hear what others say & will walk out on talks in protest. War should always be the last option when verbal communication has "permanently" failed....
---Leon on 9/29/07

Oh i dunno, perhaps talking? You just offer more war. That doesn't work. Gee, how many times do you have to hit your thumb with a hammer before you examine your method of hammering? We're creating more every day with our methods now.

What do you suggest Alexia? :)

This world system began at Babel where God expressed His opinion about His 'enemies'. Has God changed His mind?

Only thing left for America to do in this physically manifested spiritual war is complete surrender to the anti(Christians) at home & abroad.

I personally believe the stage is set for the anti-Christ's entrance by worldly denials, attitudes, etc. Regretfully, Israel will be the scapegoat once again!

All this PC reminds me of 2Kings 20:12-20 & Trojan Horses!

Makes no sense to me, 'Christian' or patriotic groups can't speak, somebody will!

Forgot the treaty signed years ago, touting Americans as 'citizens of the world'? No borders, hearings instead of governing, [Blessing in disguise]? Tainted imports, (Ma)Gog flexing their muscles again, compare the media interviewing/speaking to those sworn to kill/destroy us to patriotic groups or 'Christian Fanatics'! Who's forcing/fooling who?

Bottom Line/Good News? Echad/God is still in control!

WWIII - we weren't asked - we got it in the back and they will do it again.

I guess the war has made them reconsider striking the homeland again. But with you liberals around I'm sure they'll be only to happy to drop a few more planes in our neighborhood.

fight em here or fight em there
---Andrea on 9/27/07

war hasn't ended war yet. Don't you think its time we tried something else?
---alexia on 9/27/07

alexia - the war machine is coming to us
---Andrea on 9/27/07

thats right, ratchet up the rhetoric. Lets make it a holy war. A new crusade! Sick sick, pandering to the war machine.
---alexia on 9/27/07

Incidentally, we aren't in a war on terror. Forget that politically rhetorical nonsense! We're under attack daily & are fiercely engaged in a war against Islamic facism. Fear, thru terrorist attacks, is a highly effective weapon the facist (and their father, the devil) use in an attempt to "nuke" the minds of their enemies. But God has not give us a spirit of fear. (2 Tim. 1:7) Praise the One True & Living God -- YAHWEH!

jsut when I thought you guys believed in democracy, there ya go trashing freedom of religion again. Bring on the internment camps.
---alexia on 9/26/07

My other problem is that if you give him a respectable platform and increase his popularity you give him strength in his own country.
2) if someone had a major blunder it could cause an international incident and this man really wants a war with us
---Andrea on 9/26/07

Please carefully read---Leon's answer to this question, that's exactly what the Koran says. When dealing with Islam it is impossible to have friends. In Islamic world our so-called friends are also our enemies!!
---Mima on 9/25/07

In a recent tv interview, Ahmadinejad said he "couldn't lie." That was a lie!!! Radical muslims like him believe they're obligated to lie to infidels (unbelievers of Islam -- US) in order to overcome & destroy us. We "must understand" what the Islamic facist truly want. Otherwise, our heads will roll worldwide as they gain control. We must hold (embrace) our friends close & hold our enemies even closer ("bind" & thwart their evil plans).
---Leon on 9/25/07

cynthia, psst...I think they were watching him...I doubt he hid a bomb anywhere. Glad to see people still want democracy here. I havent been so sure lately.

What about, "Know your enemy"? Draw him out, even. And if he doesn't answer a question, don't castigate a world-known figure in public > that "could" be playing HIS game. We have been able to win evil people to our cause. "Wisdom is better than weapons of war" (in Ecclesiastes 9:18).
---Bill_bila5659 on 9/25/07

He actually came to this country and took direct questions??? This was an opportunity to draw him out about his background, so we could get insights into how he developed. I'll "bet" he let EVIL decide how he sees things and if he forgives or not...something we ALL can do > "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21)
---Bill_bila5659 on 9/25/07

Bible, tells us to have nothing to do with unfruitful works of darkness. No matter what our Country stands for it was the President of Iran's kind of lies and darkness that took Christ to the cross and Hitler to power. I know Christ had to die for us but allowing Mahmound to speak is promoting his beliefs and lies. Iranian college students(this area) wrote antiamerican slogans on the walls of their apartments decades ago, they are our enemies and the enemies of Christianity. Propaganda is an evil tool.
---Darlene_1 on 9/25/07

Yes I do believe that this Iranian President should be allowed to speak at the universities in this country, but I also think that our President should be sure that this is the only reason that he is here. I believe that he should be watched very closely, because you have to remember that he is one of America's enemies from what I understand.

Giving that he is clear on his position to wipe Israel off the map and is supplying teerorists that are murdering US soldiers. NO! Why give him a forum - tell him to take his propaganda elsewhere.
As it is - the President of Columbia U. could have used that opportunity to address Iran's human rights abuses. He did that - then he went too far - telling him(Iran) he was ridiculous and or uneducated. People will die bc of embarrassing this nut.
---Andrea on 9/24/07

In the United States we have freedom of speech and academic freedom. His address to student at Columbia University truly showed him for what he was by not answering questions or going on some other tirade. Would the same courtesy be given in Iran for a George W. Bush to address students at a university in Iran? That is just one of the differences between freedom and treney.
---notlaw99 on 9/24/07

I think not allowing him to speak would prove his point that the US only plays lip service to freedom and the free exchange of ideas. We have allowed equally or worse despots to speak in our country. He is a bad man but there were no Iranians in the 9/11 attacks but there were 14 Saudis. Saudis are allowed to roam the US freely and their king and ambassador often meet with the president.
---randy on 9/24/07

Yes, I am. It is what makes our country one of the greatest. Our Constitution allows the universities to invite anyone to speak, and gives them a forum in which they can be challenged and heard.
