The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit. Its His power your anointed to use. Are you aware of Christ in you - does He flow through you. Can you open your heart and lift up your eyes and know in whom you have salvation.
If yes, your anointed. How much you walk in that anointing may depend on how much you understand about the character of your Savior and how well you listen.
You will never know if you have the gift of healings if you do not lay your hands on a person and ask God to heal.

Emcee ... No need for me to "wait till" ... I have already seen!

Alan of UK, When I say I love Catholics and they are Christians how in the world does that spell anti catholic complex, My own children attend Catholic schools, though I don't agree with some things, does not mean that they do not have a sincere heart for God and a love for Jesus, so please get over yourselves.

Whisper:: You do have an extraordinary gift when you can tell who is annointed!BTW what is a Complex Catholic or is it a catholic complex.would you like to share yours, or is it too complex for this complex catholic to understand.I Thank you in advance.

In the Bible, only those that God chose to lead His people were anointed, and in each case a prophet or priest actually physically anointed them with oil. So if you have been anointed in this way by one with proper authority to do so, then you have been anointed, otherwise you have not.

MC. I am not here to bash Catholics, truth be said I really love them, I am simply on this blog to answer how I can tell if someone is anointed, it seems you have a CATHOLIC COMPLEX.

I think your response was needlessly flippant.

It might have been relevant if Cynthia was claiming some kind of anointing or infallibility for herself, but that wasn't the issue.

Besides, the various spiritual gifts do not necessarily presuppose that the recipient also has the gift of good grammar, or good spelling, or good typing.

Jack "One way: Does s/he spell the word "anointed" properly?"
That sounds cruel, not a joke.

Whisper : That was your list for Catholics & now what about christians Guess you could not find any Blemish. So what does that tell you Catholicas are human, but a rare breed who follow the word of God in HIS CHURCH matt16:17-19 or do you not believe the Scriptures? Now don't forget to whisper the truth in your next postcast.
---Emcee on 9/28/07

M.C. I think of Catholics as Christian, that is aside from idolatry, vain repetitions, and thinking thoughts of Mary as queen or intercessor, no where to be found in Bible, and pergatory, and hanging beads, it's way flaky. And out of touch with the reality of the the Godhead, aside from it the electricity I have had and others around have been a beautiful feeling, nothing where we were struck dead, howbeit, I have heard of it happening in cases of blasphemy.

You are annointed if your life starts producing fruit. When people become blessed through us and we use the gifts we have been given with his power and not ours- than we are annointed. I don't believe in some annointing that just slays people in the spirit and nothing else- there must be a purpose. I do believe that the annointing can cause a person to do amazing signs and wonders to show the glory of God.
---Michelle on 9/27/07

Part 2- People tell me I'm annointed just because of the way I worship God. I hear people say, "he's annointed or she's annointed" all the time. I say, the annointing will produce some kind of fruit in someone's life- whether it be immediately or not.

To be anointed is to be set apart for service in the kingdom of God. The anointed will be determined to convey "beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that we might be called the trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be gloried" in and through us. The fruit of the Spirit is manifested in the life of the anointed, for the presence of The Anointed One is made clearly apparent in our lives.

Jesus is in Heaven, He sits at the right hand of the Father God. It is not Jesus inside of you when you become a Christian He is the Person of the Holy Spirit that resides inside your heart. This morning B. Hinn was doing a teaching on this, and you can order this teaching FREE if you write to Benny Hinn dot org. Excellent!

for me it is when you can stand infront of a Christian or pass their shadow and all of a sudden feel like you were struck by lightening, or chills run up and down you, or after praying in the HOLY SPIRIT a person enters your house and are catapulted through the air because of the GLORY in the room, there becomes a certain lightness in the atmosphere and the beautiful presence, of God, then your face can glow like a light, and whoever is around can and do begin to cry like a baby.

Bill, God bless you and yes as I said in another post, the Lord, Jesus Christ is the love of my life. I was looking for a really good understanding of annointing. Thanks for the spiritual insight Bill! And thank you to anyone else who post spiritual insights on this blog. That is why we as God's people are here, to help one another as well as others by the word of God. Amen!

Cynthia...YOU are a good definition of annoited, if you are
a real Jesus person of love and caring and honesty with God...and joy.
This is because **Jesus*** is the One who really is annoited
and loves you, and so He in you shares His OWN annoiting with you,
**as much as He has grown in you** >

"My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you," (Galatians 4:19)
---Bill_bila5659 on 9/26/07

"My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you," (Galatians 4:19) > this is Paul telling us that Jesus is being "formed" in us as our new inner Person. Jesus in us makes us very attractive to the Holy Spirit's so-precious annoiting. The Holy Spirit flows through us, forming into Jesus in us > it's like how a mother's own blood fluid flows to her baby in her womb and those dissolved food chemicals from her blood are used by God to make her baby.
