"'So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth,
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.'"
(Isaiah 55:11)

So, every bite of God's word is unconditionally guaranteed to accomplish all that God pleases > every prophecy, promise, description, and commandment will come to pass. So, we have the authority to trust You to correct us to live every commandment the way **You*** mean it.

We have the authority to invoke the authority of Jesus, as well as the authority given us in Christ as we carry out the great commission. "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel. And these sign shall follow them that believe, In my name-authority-they shall cast out devils..They shall take up serpents: they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Behold I give unto you power-authority-to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy." Cont.

Pt.2 This is my understanding of this authority and application. We who depend upon the Fathers word of salvation, will proclaim the Fathers authority, through His salvation. Allowing His character and authority to be made clearly apparent in and through us by His Spirit. By allowing for that, we eject and expel any demonic influencers right to induce harmful behavior within us or around us. We will speak with renewed freshness brought about by a renewing of the mind. Pt.3 Resulting in a way of speaking not naturally acquired, habitually speaking that which is conducive to life, rather than death. Giving Satan no place and keeping the minds of malicious people confused, in suspense and uncertain. And if we absorb into our minds anything that is poisonous or deceptive it will not hinder our journey or cause injury, for the truth will be brought to light. Cont.

We will be a channel for the Father to superimpose the sick and deprived with recognition of the power available to grasp as a means and instrument for recovery, and they shall take hold of the condition of wellness. As we allow our minds to be elevated above the sensual through the Word of God we are empowered with the authority to preach, in the authority of His Word of salvation, remission, pardon, forgiveness, freedom and deliverance from sin.

Part 3, You are to be a light, in this world of darkness, you are to be a carrier of Gods presence, in your body, human temple. Some times I will walk past people and I will often get a spiritual response out of them, even walking down an isle of a grocery store, stuff will happen, that is authority residing inside of me "our temple" they will look at me start touching their arms, look at their hands, feel power hit them, in a nice way of course...

Pt. 4. I would be wondering what was wrong with me if this power was not exhibited, I never enjoyed a chicken little "Christian Mentality" where the chicken is so powerless it can never rise to the occasion "Spiritually" I love the eagles they fly so high and have eyes to see many miles infront of them, Acts chapter 1:8 says.....

Jesus says: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jefusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts, 1:5 For John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. Love that. Part 5.continued

6. And when he had called unto him his twelve dicsiples, he gave them POWER AGAINST UNCLEAN SPIRITS, to cast them out and to HEAL ALL manner of SICKNESS and ALL MANNER OF DISEASE. God is the same yesterday today and forever. If not US THEN WHO is to have authority.

Mima, when I use the phrase"walking testimony" I do mean that not only should our life reflect Jesus Christ, but we should share with others verbally how Jesus Christ has changed our lives, so yes Mima you would be correct by using the word soulwinner. I just phrased it a little differently. God bless you Mima!

Bill that was great! I love the fact that Jesus taught as one having authority, And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and NOT AS THE SCRIBES. Pt.1

The Disciples were given same authority to continue what Christ bagan, and after His death, burial, and resurection they were able to excercise full power and authourity, that every demon of hell would be subject to them through the blood bought power of salvation. When you walk into a room, just your presence alone should make the demons tremble around you inside of people if people run from you, be glad, thats the authority of Gods Holy Spirit residing in you. Part 2

When you discover what "greater works" refers too you will have opened the door to life's purpose. "Greater works" as used in the quote given by --- denna can not possibly refer to being a walking testimony are any lifestyle evangelism idea. What does it refer to? "Greater works" refers to soulwinning.

Jesus said in John 14:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also, and greater works than these he will do, because I go to the Father. (NASB) That's pretty good authority.

Bill God bless you, proverbs 3 :5-6 is what I call my "life" verse. I believe that we should be walking testimonies if you will. We are the lights of the world, and our character should reflect the love of Jesus Christ in us and through us. Amen!

Cynthia, we have the authority to expect what God means by His word, and NOT merely what we can suppose it means.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And do not lean on your own understanding,"
(Proverbs 3:5)

There are people who say we can't do what is commanded and can't be how His word says to be. But in God's love, we are natural at living Sermon on the Mount love, and "as He is, so are we in this world." (in 1 John 4:17) TRUST Him for THIS, then.
