Trish, dear, you are in my prayers this week. I wish you peace in the midst of it all. Bless you dear.
---Mary on 10/23/07

I would appreciate prayer for my family. One year ago, my brother went to be with the Lord. I am missing him terribly this week. Thanks.
---Trish9863 on 10/22/07

It is October. I can't help but to wonder what destruction Satan is going to bring upon this nation within the next few months. +++ Stay tune, Won't you. Don't go anywhere.

Hi there. I am really missing my kids this week. Monday is my "baby's" birthday. He will be 25 years old. I miss seeing them regularly, and of course I miss my angel of a granddaughter. She will be 4 months old on Sunday. Boy, time flies.

Please pray for my son and his girlfriend. Girlfriend's grandmother has stage 4 cancer. Girlfriend is a professed Pagan, but asked me to have my church pray for her grandmother. Please pray for girlfriend and grandmother's spiritual conditions, as they live far from me. Son and girlfriend live together. They all need repentance. Thanks.

Trish9863 - Praise the Lord for His wonderful grace and mercy. I pray that He will set you totally free too, that you will know what it is like to never have to even think about drinking any more, that you will in fact just hate the stuff. What He does for one He will do for you too. Bless you.
---Helen_5378 on 10/8/07

Right up to repentance's well you go until you know for certain that even His judgment is good because it gets rid of the carnality of the flesh. He tastes so good today I can hardly get enough.
---Linda on 10/7/07

Helen, what you experienced was the goodness of God. It is the goodness of God that leads one to repentance. It does not say that His goodness "might" lead one to repentance or "could" lead one to repentance. It says that His goodness leads us to repentance, period. Once you experience His goodness, you are being led whether you know it or not.

("there was absolutely no physical damage at all,") -- except for a fatty liver. That bit was left out because I was having trouble editing my post.
---Helen_5378 on 10/7/07

Helen: Praise the Lord that you have been set free. I had an anniversary of stopping drinking on September 26th. God allowed me to stop drinking six years ago.
---Trish9863 on 10/6/07

Rebecca: I will continue to pray for you. It is hard to comprehend why God allows certain things to happen in our bodies. Yet, I must meditate on Psalm 139, and believe that He is in control of every detail of my health, because I am fearfully and wonderfully made by Him.

If you would like, send me a Private Message and I will write more.

Yesterday, 5th October, I remembered how 26 years ago I had my LAST drink at about 7.10p.m. As I look back now, I am in awe of how the Lord Jesus Christ set me totally free way back then from it's curse, long before I knew Him. That was 1981. He saved me just 10 years ago. The only explanation I have is that because He knew I was going to be His child in the future, He by His amazing grace set me free way beforehand. Jesus Christ took the whole complete addiction totally away, (continued...)
---Helen_5378 on 10/6/07

2/... and I knew in my heart I would never drink again. After I got saved I asked the Lord what it was that I felt physically in my heart when I stopped drinking, the answer came quickly it was Him that put faith in my heart that I would never drink again. His grace and mercy is amazing. Jesus took my drinking addiction, the whole of it, on the Cross. It is as if I had never drank, and even though I had one year to live back then, there was absolutely no physical damage at all, (continued...)
---Helen_5378 on 10/6/07

3/... which disappeared with diet and weight loss. If anybody reading this is struggling with some issue in your life, maybe the same as mine was or maybe different, turn your life over to the Lord Jesus Christ. He loves you, and He wants to set you free too. He has already paid the price on the Cross for you.

I thought mabe someone would love to know these things in October. Lamech- Cains great-great-great grandson becomes 1. The first recorded polygamist. [Not God's will]. 2. The first recorded songwritter. 3. The second recorded Murderer.

Isa 54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD, and great shall be the peace of thy children.
Isa 54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear: and from terror, for it shall not come near thee.

Rebecca D>>>My heart goes out to you. I feel helpless. I want to do something for you but I cannot. I would love nothing more than to take away all your pain. Man this kind of helplessness is tough. And strong. Compassion and the kind of love that Jesus puts in us for the hurting people in this world is sometimes almost more than I can bare. Burma is another great example. Wicked men in power has got to go.

I am getting so tired of this. Physically, mentally, and my faith is getting weak. I know with God all things are possible. But sometimes a person just has to say enough is enough. My husband (God bless his heart) his mind is in a turmoil. When the Doctor told us that I will be facing another surgery, his face turned white. I know he worries about me alot. I've been praying not only for myself, but for his mind as well. But God is still God. Thank God he never changes.

RebeccaD, God bless you sister in Christ. I will keep you in prayer and I can relate to what you are going through. Stay strong in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
---Cynthia on 10/4/07

My lower back was hurting last night so my husband took me to the ER. I knew it was a kidney stone, but wanted to make sure. They took a CT scan of me and a urine culture. come to find out I do have a large kidney stone which would be impossible for me to pass. (What's new) And I also have a infection. and as long as that kidney stone stays in the kidney that infection won't go away. So I will be facing another surgery. This will be my 10th surgery, in a little over a year.

Thank you Trish. There is a restraining order for the father of her 3 yr old son, and my daughter has contacted police and is involved with a victims advocate.
---christina on 10/3/07

Please keep my husband and I in prayer because of a battle we are having with our home owners insurance. We are both disabled, our kitchen sink is lying on the floor, we have no kitchen cabinets, our floors are ripped up, and our homeowners insurance only wants to pay a third of what it would cost to put this house back together. Please pray for us to stay strong in the Lord and to keep our eyes on our Lord and Savior, jesus Christ. Nothing is impossible for God. Thank you and God bless you all.

I hope your daughter is able to get a restraining order against these people who are harassing her. Encourage her to get legal advice, and to go to the courts or the police for protection from them. Document everything they do, keep a journal and get a lawyer.
---Trish9863 on 10/2/07

pray for my daughter and 3 yr old son. She recently left the father, he was abusive. He's been arrested 2x since for assault, threatening, resisting arrest, child endangerment, conspiracy threatening an officer and more. He's still injail, but his family/friends have been harrassing and threatening my daughter, threatening kidnapping, and also call my home and have sent police here on several occassions making false claims. My daughter's having nightmares about them trying to kill her and family.

Please pray for my ex-husband, his stepfather, and his grandfather. My ex broke his right ankle yesterday. His stepfather is having some heart health issues, as well as his grandfather. My daughter told me that they don't expect grandpa to live much longer. Spiritual condition of stepfather and grandfather are in question.

Rebecca: I will be praying for you as you begin this phase of recovery from your surgery. I went through a temporary menopause for a few months one year as I was on a medication preparing for a surgery. It was awful. Ask your doctor about safe ways to cope with your hormone changes. There may be some herbal supplements, as well as HRT that can be investigated.
---Trish9863 on 9/30/07

I would appreciate prayer as I am developing my asthma symptoms, and not liking it one bit. I will be calling my allergist on Monday morning. I also have to take Monday off, as I broke my eyeglasses and need to get them fixed. My old pair will suffice for short term, but not for the whole day, as I get headaches wearing them for long.
---Trish9863 on 9/30/07

Well so far I'm doing pretty good considering, I had a complete hystrectomy done September 10th. So far I have had small hot flashes, mild mood swings. So I just hope and pray it won't get worse. If so, I pity my husband and my kids. God help us all. I'm only 32 so menopause will be early for me.

The harvest is just about done here in Michigan. We're getting the gardens cleaned up for the winter. The Trees are turning red, orange and yellow. The nights are cool but the days are sunny and warm. Perfect for a motorcycle ride to see the colors. The squirrels are busy gathering butternuts and acorns (and a few tulip bulbs). Glorious! I love autumn!

It is a glorious weekend here in PA. As a result, my allergies are going bonkers. I would sure appreciate prayer for me to get through this season without an asthma attack.

God is so good. I am loving my new school. Please pray for one of my students. He is deeply disturbed and needs psychiatric help. His mom is having trouble finding him a doctor. She is not too stable herself.
