Yr's - yr's ago I used to watch 'as the world turns' & it being a fake program, but yet some true circumstances in real life.

For as the world burns ' will be total reality. There really would be No time see such, because of being there in heaven worshiping - exalting The Lord.
---Lawrence on 1/9/11

\\Can you imagine standing on heavens balcony, looking down & watching,
' as the world burns '.
---Lawrence on 1/7/11\\

Why would you want to, Lawrence?
---Cluny on 1/8/11

The walls of jasper, gates of pearl, & the street pure gold. The saints of God worshiping Him for ever.

Can you imagine standing on heavens balcony, looking down & watching,
' as the world burns '.
---Lawrence on 1/7/11

\\Some even believes that some of us will be in charge of a planet or two.\\

Thats mormonoidism, not Christianity.
---Cluny on 1/7/11

God personally told me what heaven is. Truly, truly the Lord said to me, You take the best thing that happened to you in your life, like getting an "A" on a test, or falling in love, or receiving a greatly desired gift, or some best thing like to this, and multiply this best thing times 1000 times, and this is heaven. There are no sinners nor sin anywhere in heaven. We will praise Jesus and personally sit with him at his table and we will talk together with Henoch, Noah, and Lot, and Yoseph, Moses, and Yehoshua, and Samson, David, and Solomon, and Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, and Eliyah and Elisha, and Philip and Paul, about the glories of God.
---Eloy on 1/7/11

Eye hath not seen, nor ear hath heard what heaven will be like.

A new heaven and a new earth.

What is in heaven... space and worlds unknown. God is limitless and does the impossible.

Speaks of transparent gold streets? We have been on this rock for over 2000 years and I have never seen transparent gold have you?

To say heaven will be just a new earth is quite a bit less than impossible.

Dream just a little and imagine a place 1000 times better than that. Then you might only be 7 times 7 off from the real thing.

Jesus said, "I can assure you some of you will be greater than John the baptist."

You can be sure there will be degrees of greatness.

Gods Word tells us we will reign with Christ here on earth when He returns to defeat Satan and establish His Kingdom

Christ lived and died so we could have salvation and be partakers of His Kingdom ...the gospel was about Gods Kingdom on Earth NOT HEAVEN

heaven is antichrist
---Rhonda on 7/11/08

Correct ann. When we are not worshipping God we will be working. Some even believes that some of us will be in charge of a planet or two. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Also, we will be traveling through space faster than you could ever imagine. Makes me want to go NOW! It will also be a time for learning. Learning what, I have no idea.
---catherine on 7/10/08

Heaven will be no more evil and no more suffering, We will be praising and worshiping Our Lord all day and night.
---ANN on 7/9/08

Mary, and bless you to! And - woof!
---John1944 on 11/5/07

Hehehe! Bless you John1944--love that comment :D I can't wait to see my old black lab Taffy up there, and Buffy--if he made it lol! :D
---Mary on 11/2/07

Mary, I am sure doggie caretakers will be needed in heaven, because as the saying goes, "All dogs go to heaven!"
---John1944 on 11/1/07

catherine: "And God did not record everything about Himself in the word of God."

That's true, but everything said, everything taught, everything done, and everything prophesized must be within the guidelines of God's written Word.

"But to accuse me of not being saved, is blasphemy. The true God is the God that saved me from hell."

What does the Bible say about teaching wrong doctrine? It is NOT blasphemy to tell the truth.
---Steveng on 10/29/07

Oh, and one more point: "To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they speak NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, it is because there is NO LIGHT IN THEM." Isa 8:20
---Steveng on 10/29/07

Hi everyone, I know I'm nuts here but I would love to be a doggie caretaker in Heaven--seriously!! :) Honest :)
---Mary on 10/29/07

My opinion is that heaven will be pure love.

What do I believe heaven will be like? And what do you think we will do there? I have already answer this. although I did get my answer from Pat Roberson. I got in trouble. I am not a fake prophet. I am the real deal, folks. I will not spend the rest of my life defending my title, I know that much, God will help me. And boy do I need that!
---catherine on 10/29/07

You are correct I am guessing. The Bible does not give specifics on what our jobs will be except that we will judge angels and people. The Bible does not give specifics on alot of things. And God did not record everything about Himself in the word of God. But to accuse me of not being saved, is blasphemy. The true God is the God that saved me from hell. Right?
---catherine on 10/29/07

catherine: "We may be in charge of planets".

This is a false doctrine, A doctrine not found in the Bible.

"...could involve other planets, why not?"

Using the words "could," "may" and "why not" tells me that you're guessing.

"You mock me and you are mocking God because I am of God."

They are mocking you and your false god. Your god is not the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.
---Steveng on 10/27/07

"We may be in charge of planets". I was mocked by a mocker the other day about that. I don't quite understand. "I have news" for you. God is going to put His people to WORK when we get to heaven and some of that could involve other planets, why not? You mock me and you are mocking God because I am of God. You HYPOCRITES.

That is very interesting
I was trying to look up where you found that there will be flesh and blood in the 2nd resurection (i'm always learning something new) please post the verse so I can read it.
---imhoosoever on 10/25/07

nicolette: "Explain to me...a "new earth"

The Christians taken at the first resurrection are of Christians who are favored by God to go to heaven. Those who are not chosen will experience the "new earth."

At the end of the thousand years, the rest of the dead who died throughout all of history will be judge by God from the Book of Life.
---Steveng on 10/25/07

Everyone is speaking of Heaven as though that is the destination of believers for eternity. Explain to me then what your bible means when it speaks of a "new earth" in the book of Revelations? Also, explain to me, if heaven is the destination, why the 2nd resurrection in perfected bodies made of flesh and blood? Will there be flesh and blood in heaven?
---nicolette on 10/25/07

Blessings to all, it is a blessing to be back. Heaven will be a place of singing(Isa. 44:23, Rev. 14:3)Heaven will be a place of fellowship, a joy divine. Heaven will be a place of serving(Rev. 7:15, Rev. 22:3)Heaven will be a place of learning(1 Cor. 13:9-10). We will learn concerning the person and plan of God. God will take each of us aside and explain fully the reason for our sufferings and trials. Praise the Lord and God bless!

Other planets? You are letting your imagination run away from you. The Bible says a new Heaven and a new earth. Nowhere does it say to other planets.
---Steveng on 10/24/07

When I get to heaven, I sure hope God don't send a bunch out to other planets. Good Lord, I've had enough of this planet (earth) (well what is on the planet) I sure don't want to go to another planet. When I get to heaven, I want to stay in heaven.
---Rebecca_D on 10/24/07

Catherine - (" We will be traveling fast to other planets some say.") -- You can if you want, but I'm going to stay put in Heaven the most beautiful place ever.
---Helen_5378 on 10/24/07

Heaven>>>God will provide magnificently for His people. No evil, wickedness, will us Saints put up with anymore. Some will have the job of judging angels and people. God will assign each of us jobs. There will be worshiping God and singing. Pure joy and happiness. One hour in heaven will make up for all the JUNK we must put up with down here. We will be traveling fast to other planets some say. Fast speed. I know that will be a fun.

This is fascinating.....and most amuzing. While you are all debating sin, blood pressures are rizing, resentful thoughts are abounding and anger is at the doorstep! Ironic!
---Nicolette on 10/24/07

I think heaven will probably be really nice.
---John1944 on 10/23/07

Mere words could never describe Heaven. You would surely need the Spirit of God inside you to even taste, see, feel, smell or touch what Heaven is like. Just like God is undescribable using mere words so is Heaven. Even if you took the most peaceful time in your life and multiplied it by a trillion, you wouldn't still know what Heaven is like.
---Steveng on 10/23/07

Dont you believe Christ came to do away with sin? If this be not so, then Christ did nothing. There is no good news.

duane, I have no idea where your theology comes from.
But you are forgetting your own personal Judgment Day. That will be forthcoming.
---Bob on 10/23/07

Mima::Sin is contracted by man in the flesh while alive. This makes those alive in the spirit not sinners as spoken by Rom8:1.But as nothing defiled enters heaven, then it follows that man will be judged For every thought word & deed immediately following his death, called the particular judgement. You are preaching a wrong doctrine.
---Emcee on 10/23/07

Mima, agree with you...
Sin has no power over us. Jesus took sin away, Sin HAS been judged.
---duane on 10/23/07

I agree that the believer will be judged as to what rewards he will receive. I do not believe that the believer will be judged, or condemed for his sinful acts. And therefore I do not believe we will be judged for every word or deed. For to judge every word or deed(some of which are sinful) would place us under condemnation. And that is an impossibility Romans 8:1

---Bob on 10/22/07

Our goal is not "works" on getting every thought, word, and deed lined up with God's perfect will. We are to discipline our tongues, our bodies, and our minds so that we can run the race. The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, He leads us in to all Truth.
---Bob on 10/22/07

It's true and there is no contradiction at all. Salvation and rewards are two entirely separate events.

When we are born-again, everything we do from that point forward - our words, thoughts, and deeds - will be judged and our rewards will be based on them.

Jesus is not only our Savior, He is also our Lord. He evaluates us.

Christians who do not love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and those who regularly practice evil deeds...
---Bob on 10/22/07

Every word, every thought, every deed will be judged.

Matthew 12:36 - But I say to you that every idle word, whatever men may speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgment.

Romans 14:12 - So then each one of us will give account concerning himself to God.

Revelation 22:12 - And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each according as his work is.

God couldn't mean EVERY one! Yes. He does mean every one.

They are not just written for us to think about and then comply with whatever we agree with whenever we want to. They are the basis of our lives, the world, and eternity. Because there will be a judgment and reward for all of us who are going to heaven. Either positive or negative.
---Bob on 10/22/07

To---Bob, if the believer's every word and deed is to be judged. What was Jesus judged for? Was he judged for our sins and then we also will be judged for those sins? Did Jesus pay for our sins on the cross ? Was that payment not sufficient? Exactly how many times does the father demand payment?
---Mima on 10/22/07

All you bloggers out there, we do not have the words and ability to describe heaven. It is a dimension of God and His ways are beyong our ways. Do yourself a favour, first understand the love of God, receive the Holy Ghost and live for Him, then go to heaven and see for yourself!!
---Sigs on 10/22/07

I would worry if it was warm and I had the smell of heaven on me

As it is writen, there will be no more tears
no materialism ,no evil or nagativity,we shall be spirits without flesh ,angels

3)Ps 87:3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God.

The city of Jerusalem IS the "city of our God", and it will be established forever HERE ON THE NEW EARTH!

Heaven, God's central dwelling place, will one day be with his resurrected people, on the New Earth.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem,......
---Bob on 10/19/07

If your crown could not be taken, the Bible would not say it is so.
I don't know if the thief on the cross has a crown, he didn't have much time after repenting.
Those that do not lose their crown will be doing more than those who do not have a crown.

Every word and deed we do on earth will be judged, even as believers.
---Bob on 10/19/07

God's going to determine what that crown is, and how much we will be allowed to do in heaven for all of eternity.
The Bible says some will have the smell of smoke on them as they barely make it in.
The Bible says it's apparent, I don't know if the smell of smoke stays on you for all of eternity allowing others to know that you barely made it in.
