Hey Kella,

Sunday we had a visiting Preacher from Georgia. He preached a beautiful sermon on the grace of God. After he finished our pastor spoke for a few minutes on:

Php 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

It was wonderful.

Lord bless you Sister.

I too enjoy going to church. Our pastor preached out of Colossians chapter 1. He discussed the four things Paul prayed for concerning the disciples at Collosse, how that Christ has the preeminence over all, the reconciling work of Christ, and he concluded with the mystery which has been hid from ages and generations.

He usually preaches 45 min to an hour, but it's good.

Lord bless you,

The same Jesus who fed the five thousand(Jn 6) is the same Jesus that declared that he is the bread of life. And after Jesus further explained the meaning, many disciples left because it was to difficult to understand.

Although I do not understand everything I read in scripture, I trust that Jesus is who he claimed to be.

I enjoy going to church. I enjoy listening to sermons. I find it to be a time of learning and reflection, something to take with me in my walk with God. Anyhow, I will be back later to tell about last Sunday's sermon.

Here is a short sermon. Go and win souls for God this week and report back next week to compare notes as to how many souls you won. Our purpose here as Christians is to win souls for christ and to be Pleasing to GOd. So lets report back on either of those subjects. :)

There is a site CARM that has long posts - 85 words is way too short.
