Greetings Sister Cynthia,

If you will notice in the scriptures many times the Lord's people are called strangers, sojourners, and pilgrims (Heb 11:13, 1 Pet 2:11, 1 Pet 1:17). We may live in this world, but this world is not our home. Our home Cynthia, is in heaven with Christ our Lord.

Christ has made us jointheirs (Rom. 8:17). This earth is not our home, we are just visiting here temporarily. Christ has made us fellow citizens with the saints. (Eph. 2:19).

Lord bless you,

Anything less than a total surrender to Jesus Christ now will end up total shipwreck then.
Darkness will sweep away many but mature others.

Come out of her, my people, so that you may not share in her sins, neither participate in her plagues. Rev 18:4

We must live in and must use the things of the world. But we are not to be assimilated in the ways or the spirit of the world.

The Apostle Paul said we are to reject from our hearts the rudiments of the world.

Rudiments - sexual vice/appetities, impurity, unholy desires, greed and covetousness.
Abandon the love of sin.

God uses vessels that are dead to the world, sin, and the devil.
They will be the soldiers that will lift up Christ's government.
To those who love righteousness, they will stand against the fiery trials and come out of the furnace as vessels, ready to move.

One cannot be a true disciple of Christ without living the crucified life.
When God reveals His Fatherhood to the nations, the rebellion of the rebellious will be the greatest distinction of the world.
The community of the unbelievers will arise as one man, rejecting Jesus Christ.
It will be easy to see who is of this world
and those who are not.

By knowing & always identifying yourself as being an eternal soul and not the flesh that you reside in, nor the fleshy manifestations that appear in this world. The cares and things of this world are temporal and will soon pass away, so remember what is eternal & always stay in the love of God in all that you do because the world or flesh is just the place where we as eternal soul reside at for the moment.

We are the salt of the world we are not to be out drinking and partying with unbelivers we are to be with them to minister new life.
Do not become ensnared in the cares of this world but be overcomers

That simply means that while we work and go to school in the world, we do not partake of the world values, idols, lusts but rather seek to be like Jesus. We abstain from the appearance of all evil. Our dress, speach, hobbies shopping habbits, substance intake and loyalties will reflect Jesus Christ. Money will not be our master.

I used to think I should be all things to all people. Really wrong. This means no longer partake of the parties, worldly lusty dancing, social drinking...etc the list is endless....for me it means, that I must separate myself to holiness, with kids....I find it hard, it seems there is a constant war going on for my holiness, or my separation, as offers to partake in things that satisfy me on a lusty, soulish level are always before the eyes. But through MUCH TRIALS AND ERRORS....I've repented.

It the samething like Jesus was in the world, but he wasn't apart of the world. Meaning he didn't have worldly things keeping him here, and not following His Father's commandments.

cynthia,by keeping your mind on the things of following jesus,s examples in all living your life based on loving and obeying thru realizing jesus is the vine and you are the branch and he thru the holy spirit will enable you to live in but not be of the world.
