When Are We Judged

In Revelation 20:12 we find this statement "and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." The dead are named. But what about the saved? When are they judged?

When the Son of man is revealed.

We are judged on a daily basis, and then upon death.

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
1cor 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Mima, (continued)

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Now, when one of God's children dies, Christ has put away his sins. Who can lay any charge to one of God's children, because Christ has paid the price? God's children are judged righteous (Rom 5:19).

Lord bless you,

The great white throne judgment will take place at the end of the Millennium, prior to the time when God will "make all things new".This will be the final and irreversible judgment of Satan and his angels and all of the unredeemed. Will be cast into the lake of FIRE. [second death]. God's people will not come into judgment, but has passed from death unto life. Jesus Christ payed for our sins at calvary. Have you been saved through His Blood? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

I believe this is the correct answer."I thought through the work of The Christ on Calvary that the judgement has been passed over those who are of His flock? Doesn't the bible speak of the elect being refined in fire?"

Blessings Mima, we as believers will be judged for our works at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Our sin has already been atoned for. We will be judged on how we lived our life from the time that we recieved Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Not our sin but our works done here in this life. God Bless!

Since we receive our reward at Jesus coming (Rev 22:12), then we will have been judged sometime prior to His return.
Rev 14:7 says that the hour of His judgement has come.
We are living in the judgement hour now.
And He will soon make that proclaimation: "He who is unjust, let him be unjust still, he who is filthy, let him be filthy still, he who is righteous, let him be righteous still, he who is holy, let him be holy still. Rev 22:11
Are YOU holy?

I believe that when we gather together we will all stand before the judgment seat. Col.3:4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Those in Christ will be judged righteous. According to 1 Cor.3, the payment for sins has already been made but all deeds will be tried. Some deeds are wood, hay, and stubble. These will burn. That is the judgment for works done outside the kingdom of God. Some will be gold and precious jewels. These will be everlasting rewards.
